Wow. I once had my entire office convinced I had photographed a ghost in a coworker's garden. All I did was print a double exposure using regular photo equipment. Now kids just use photoshop. Bunch of lazy punks.

Very possible. The ghost does appear to be an adolesent, and we all know how cooporative kids can be.

This reminds me that I'm always curious how that Ghost Hunters show stays on the air on Sci-Fi channel. From what I've seen, every episode just a bunch of guys running around with a night-vision camera and saying "What was that?!" and "Did you see that?!" when in fact we never see anything.

They actually used to be REALLY good. Granted, most of the time they don't catch any good video/audio eveidence. But they have caught some pretty interesting stuff. Like the video I posted earlier in the lighthouse. It looked alot better on the TV than through YouTube cause it's not real clear.

Actually, Ghost Hunters are probably more legit than any of the other shows out there. They go into the "hunt" trying to debunk what they are seeing. And they are probably the only team I know that immediately dismisses "orbs" as dust or bugs. I've seen several shows where they have gone into a site where the owners had pictures or video's of alleged activity and TAPS completely debunked all of them.

I will await some real evidence, not stuff from a tv-show and anecdotal evidence from the 'web'.

Here's the weird thing, I'd be thrilled if this stuff was real, it'd make life much more interesting, but there is nothing so far that is convincing enough, especially with so many charlatans around.

I guess it's something you will have to experiance yourself.

That's that best thing about TAPS, they could go in and say ''yes this is haunted'' but they go in debunking. I saw an episode last night where a TAPS member said they have a photograph of a female over the fire place. They debunked it-it was just some dust. if they were con-artists they could have said it was a ghost. You can tell these guys are passionite about what they do.

They go in hoping to catch something but they try to disprove claims. If they went in thinking the place is haunted they would be giving us false information.

Every show like this has some science skeptic whos sits back while the idiots run around for an hour....

All the tech they have then shows that there was never anything there....no change in temperature not so much as inconsiderate fart!

Just once I would like to see the science skeptics find something.

I suppose for a TV show, it kinda makes for a let down of sorts. Yes, they are out there to try and find evidence of the paranormal. But the primary goal of TAPS is to provide answers/comfort/confirmation to the owners of that location (if any). Alot of the locations they got to at the request of a homeowner who wants to know if they're house is really haunted or if there is something else going on. People on the verge of moving out of their house because they are so spooked. So if the result of that investigation leads to explaining to that family that the banging in the middle of the night are just water pipes, or the feeling of sickness in the basment is just due to a bunch of mold due to water damage...well then they helped that family and put them at ease.

That's why at the end of most shows you'll hear them tell people "they are only a call away" or "Call us if something else happens." They are trying to provide answers...be it that your house is haunted or "here...this is why this is happening."

The other issue with TV ghost shows is the fact that they are edited and not live....if it was a detailed live video stream that would be better. Sometimes I swear they add crap on for effect...
