The Ghost Thread

Silly, latex doesn't work on ghosts.:oldrazz:
I have a proton pack.:o

the kind that shoot ectoplasm all over your face:o

Fake, if it was real, they would zoom in more and go after it...not just sit there in a 50 foot pan of the woods.
I'd doubt it. The investigator is jason o sullivan. He is a down to earth ledgit guy if you watch all his vids. He didn't see the ghost at the time, it was only on playback he noticed it.

I decided to bump this thread so we could continue our roundtable discussion of Ghosts.

Today I was in Waldens Bookstore and picked up a book about Ghosts. It spoke about earthbound ghosts and how to communicate with them, along with other information that could be useful in ghost hunting. The author said one of the common misconceptions is that paranormal activity is always in a cemetary.

She stated that the only time ghosts frequent cemetary's is when they come to see if their grave is being tended to or if loved ones are visiting. That's usually when they visit a cemetary. It was a pretty interesting read that I will more than likely purchase sometime in the future. From everything I've read and heard about the paranormal, places such as a cemetary, the place where they passed away, and etc are usually where the dead frequent as it's almost as if they're reliving their normal activities.

Hence why some of them aren't aware of the fact that they're dead. So whenever a haunting is occuring in a house, normally it's because the ghost believes it's still alive and that the new occupants are invading their space.

The Manson Investigation Reveal definitely creeped me out. It made me sad to know that Sharon Tate hasn't found peace in the afterlife. :csad:

All of the Ghost Hunters videos I provided contain some pretty interesting information and some creepy aspects as well. I commend any person who is able to keep a strong heart and mind while investigating the paranormal.

By far the thermal image, the Gibbons investigation, and the Manson Murders are what convinced me truly that ghosts are definitely real. It also helped me understand even more that there is such a thing as restless spirits as well, so either way it's an interesting field that I love studying and find very resourceful at the same time.

It seems a little weird that he would just be filming into a forest like that.

They were filming because they were investigating the place.
It wasn't til afterwards they noticed they caught something.

I would love to see the investigating equiptment in 10 years time.
A lot of the stuff TAPS have captured is amazing and it's proof life exsists after death.

There are some great articles on the TAPS website.
One of the most interesting things TAPS ever caught was the girl saying hello when they were at the stanly hotel.

This dude has a lot of great videos

Yea the taps team is by far the most realistic down to earth team, i love how they disprove the hauntings more than prove them, and when they do find anything you know its legit, because there all about disproving the fact ghosts can exist wile still acknowledging they can very well exist.

Ghost hunters remains to be my favorite show, next to heroes, new episode on wendsday =]

That's the thing about taps, if they were not legit, they could have gotten away with so much without debunking things. Remember the light that cane up trough the chair? They could have said, ''yep thats a ghost'' but they went back to disprove it. How they work, should be how all investigations should work.

Agreed, Any person can take someones fear of the ghost in their house and blatantly say to the people their house is haunted, without any evidence at that, some paranormal investigators are such con artists, and will try to rip you off.

sometimes people get so freaked out over quite possibly nothing, that they'll just up and leave, and thats ware TAPS comes in, they do their job free of charge and try to calm the homeowners down and make them realize, even if there is a haunting its possible that its not harmful in anyway and they should just go about their business.

Id love to work for Taps, I'm way into the whole Paranormal field.

TAPS would be my dream job. Because they are not getting paid doing investigations, I wonder if they still get paid for having the show.
Because in the first few eps they talked about how low they are on money and brian getting a talk from jason and grant for getting fired, but now they don't seem to talk about money or have problems with it.

I know for a fact TAPS is a non profit organization, but I'm positive they get payed somewhat by Sci-fi, they get endorsements.

how else do they pay for their equipment, that doesn't come cheap and id doubt they payed for all that equipment with their own money, maybe some.

But they also have their real jobs.

Grant and Jason work for the plumming company which is free service, but I never see them working there anymore or is that just me?

Steve started and writes for the magazine.

I'm sure they get paid sci-fi!

Hola everyone,

Figured it would be nice to continue our roundtable discussion of the paranormal. Anymore Ghost Hunts in your neck of the woods Lunar? :yay:

What happened to the fellow ghost believers/hunters? The roundtable discussion was going so well too. Anyone have any good books about the paranormal that provide some good information?

Bump. Lunar hasn't posted any information regarding his Ghost Hunts as of late and I thought it'd be interesting to bump this thread in hopes of starting the roundtable discussion again of the paranormal.

I've been meaning to ask everyone on this forum their opinion on a particular myth involving a paranormal entity. What is everyones perception on the urban legend known as Bloody Mary? Do you believe it's a possibility that it's a real aspect of conjuring a ghost?

Not that I would try it or anything, just very curious to read/hear everyones thoughts on the subject of Bloody Mary and the paranormal.

Fun prank to play as children, but beyond that it's bs.

Done it numerous times different ways, its a bull**** legend.

I like the ouija board though.
