Well, they were obviously wrong.
Millions of people watch Two and a Half Men, Jon Cryer for Oscar host!
Maybe he is a terrible awards show host that is possible like I said I didn't watch because the Oscars in general are terrible no matter who is hosting. The Jon Cryer comparison is silly. He is an actor that just reads the script he is given. Seth McFarlane has his own created shows, writes jokes and material on a consistent basis, and has had previous experience hosting shows prior to the Oscars ON TOP of having millions of fans. Forgot the fact that you are not a fan of his brand of humor. You're telling me all of those facts on paper doesn't qualify him to be an Oscar host?
And they distanced themselves from Brett Ratner after he publically ripped on on homosexuals and made some pretty horrible comments about his actress ex-girlfriends. You know, essentially being Brett Ratner.
Let me preface this by saying I am not a Brett Ratner fan at all. I do find him to be a mediocre director with sort of an arrogant attitude. BUT...he didn't rip on homosexuals. I actually heard the comment he made some reporter asked him if he did rehearsals for a film and he replied jokingly that "rehearsals are for (derogatory F word for gay people)" It was obviously a stupid joke that I get it a lot of people are sensitive to but he obviously didn't have any hatred behind it it was just a dumb joke that put him on thin ice. It was after the Stern interview, which was not offensive at all by the way he was just being honest about his life, that he was officially fired.
I didn't mean for this to turn into a whole thing I just felt I had to express how lame, hypocritical, pretentious, self-congratulating, snobby, and uptight the Oscars are.
Now I will shut up and get back on topic with the GIF'S.
