I liked HTD for many reasons, it was a fun movie, I liked the character of Howard, I loved Lea Thompson in this, you had Jeffery Jones as the villain (who looked bad ass when he was almost fully transformed), great Phil Tippet stop motion with the Dark Overlord creature, great visuals by ILM, great music by the legendary John Barry and great songs (I still have my bootleg CD that had all the songs and score bits).
