I saw the first season of the show and although 80-90% of it is purely for children and little girls, they tend to throw in something here and there that makes you go, WOW, you went there?

I need to catch up..

They have a few for Doctor Who. The unoffical nickname for one of the background characters is Doctor Whooves. It's what got me watching originally. It's strangely addictive.

They've had scenes pulled from I love lucy (the one at the chocolate factory), they have Jon Delancy (Q from Star Trek) play a character like Q causing chaos and generally being a dick. They finished Season 2 and will be starting 3 sometime in the next few months.

It's not for everyone. If you do decide to try it, watch a few episodes past the opening of season 1 as it has a different tone than the rest of the series.
