Sci-Fi The Gorge - Scott Derrickson

Watched this last night and thought it was pretty decent. Don’t think it does anything drastically surprising or revolutionary so prob not a film I’d rewatch much; it feels like it pulls lots of different things we’ve seen in many other films into the story, but it was well paced, good action and the two leads had great chemistry which made the romance aspects of the plot more enjoyable to watch.

Watched this a little while ago and the chemistry/romance between the leads was definitely the best part. The gorge itself and its contents/backstory was a little disappointing for me.

I was personally hoping for something more eldritch or Lovecraftian.
