Since it's amateurish, I'll use kid gloves and compliment the lead actress by saying that she already has the chops to make it on a Joss Whedon production.

Besides that, acting classes and improvisational study of movement, facial expressions, among other things would go a long way.

Not terribly bad for a pet project though. I wish it all the best.
