Image has produced and still are producing some of the best comics out there. Not sure if this is the right place for this thread or if one already exists, if not, then what are some of your favorite past, current, or future comics you are most excited about?

Nailbiter #1 was pretty cool! Looking forward to this series.

Also, C.O.W.L sounds awesome.

And Deadly Class may be my favorite ongoing series.

Loving Image right now.

Image has been absolutely amazing of late. I've pretty much abandoned Marvel comic books (not the MCU, mind you) and soaked up Image and smaller imprints. All that's left for my Marvel reading is Silver Surfer, Miracleman, and X-Factor (and sometimes Nova).

The Image I'm reading:

The Manhattan Projects
Rocket Girl
Alex + Ada
Black Science
Nowhere Men
Jupiter's Legacy

I'm also reading:

Letter 44 (Oni Press)
Pariah (Dark Horse)
Caliban (Avatar)

There are some great, great titles out there.

Manifest Destiny is really cool. Have you read that one? It's about Lewis & Clark--except the America they are exploring is filled with bizarre wildlife such as buffalo centaurs, parasitic plant zombies, and other scary things. Sacagawea is a badass warrior.

Bought a bunch of Image #1s for $1 just the other day. Started reading Morning Glories which looks very interesting. I also got Black Science #1, I'll see if I like that.

I havent had a chance to read Manifest Destiny, but heard really good things. If you like Black Science by Remender, I suggest you pick up Deadly Class, also by Remender, its one of my favorite comics.

Deadly Class is so good!
I've wanted to get into Williamson's Nailbiter. The premise sounds very interesting.
Chew, I have heard is quite good too.
Saga, in my opinion, is wonderful and Fiona Staples' art is amazing.

I am looking forward to Warren Ellis's Trees on Image.

Does anyone know if Nowhere Men got canceled or when new issues are coming out? Issue #6 came out 11/13 and I can't seem to find any information on upcoming issues.

I am not sure if it was ever 100% confirmed as cancelled. I do know that Eric Stephenson said there were a lot of struggles to get the first arc out. Sorry I can't offer up a definite answer.

I love it so! I actually cosplayed Saya for a comic event (:

Ohh you'll have to let me know what you think.

I haven't read C.O.W.L.
Do you read East of West at all?
I really love it!

Ok finally caught up on some reading last night, some reviews:

"Trees" #1: Intriguing concept from Warren Ellis. Not sure what I was expecting going in, but came out feeling a little underwhelmed. This is not to say I did not enjoy it, or am not gonna jump on to the series, because I am. Really interested to see where this heads.

"Southern Bastards" #1 & 2: Really cool comic series! I recommend this for any fans of Walking Tall and Gran Torino. Loving the art work and concept so far. Things are pretty predictable so far though where I can say I have a pretty firm idea where things are heading. Hopefully there is a pleasant twist.

"C.O.W.L" #1: If youre looking for a comic to jump on right now, my pick is C.O.W.L. A really cool and sophisticated first issue. Ive heard this being compared to Watchmen meets Mad Men. I see the comparisons on both sides, I loved the first issue from both the writing and art aspects. The first 5 pages are awesome. Jump on this!

"Deadly Class" #5: Again this proves to be my favorite ongoing series. Wes Craig's art continues to amaze me. Im loving this series. I can not recommend it enough for those looking for a non-superhero book. Its smart, funny, violent, and FUN. Trust me this comic is so much FUN.

Let me know if any one of you have read these! or have reviews of your own!
