It was listed in the closing credits. I missed it! Where was this played in the movie, was it Rhodey's ringtone or something?

It played in the background in the scene at Caesar's Palace (near the beginning of the movie).

anyone have a link to the song?

Really? What was playing during the 4 second love scene/roll off the bed then? I thought it was a funky version of the theme song? I'll have to listen when I see it again.

I wouldn't mind hearing this during the credits of the sequel. :o

I don't know. Maybe we're thinking of different Iron Man cartoons though. I was thinking of the one CaptainStacy linked to.

That one I'm almost 100% certain played by a band in the casino sequence.

Flashback...It played through both of these scenes.

Render unto Ceasar.....:woot:

He's the cool exec with a heart of steel.

Yeah... also, a version of it WAS used as Rhodey's ringtone for Tony Stark, during the sequence with the F-16s.

Yeah, it was a jazzed up version in the casino. I'll have to watch again to hear the ringtone version.

So this is trend with Marvel movies. They use the old theme songs somewhere in the new movies. Spider-Man did it (60s theme). Hulk does it in the trailer (TV theme). Iron Man does it (60s theme). Maybe we should scout out the Thor, Ant-Man, and Captain America themes before those films hit, so we're ready for them!

I'm glad Batman Begins didn't stick the 60s theme in the movie somewhere. . .

A lot of the score used in the Fantastic Four movies feature a small riff that was influenced by the 60's cartoon.

Don't forget Submariner's theme either. I almost got on Letterman singing the Thor theme. His people listened to me in line for Stump The Band. Guess they decided against it last minute. It's very obscure.

The score from the x-men movies sounds like the 90's theme.

Has anyone noticed that the voice of Iron Man in the 1966 cartoon is that of John Vernon (Dean Wormer from Animal House) ? It lends a whole new aura to the cartoons.
