After Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba show up in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax they’re going to get their own video game.

After Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba show up in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax they’re going to get their own video game. The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order from Bandai Namco Games has 3D battlefields to fight on. When you use spells the game has a cut in of Tatsuya or Miyuki casting a spell.

Witchcraft is developing the game and added scenes that show the daily life of students in the academy. The game has an original story written by Tsutomu Sato with multiple endings.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order will be released on October 30th in Japan, according to this week’s Dekgeki PlayStation magazine. (Thanks, Game Jouhou)

A limited edition of the game will come with a Blu-ray disc as well as codes for a DLC outfit with bloomers.

Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba are coming to PlayStation Vita with their own game, The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order. Bandai Namco is developing a fighting game based on the series which is slated for release in Japan on October 30.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order will cost 6,170 yen while a limited edition is 9,980 yen. The limited edition includes:
A Blu-ray disc with a special video
Drama CD with an original episode
A soundtrack CD for the Vita game
Six clear folders
A booklet with artwork and other designs while the game was in development
A code for three costumes, one of them is gym clothes
The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order for Vita
A special box October 30

Bandai Namco is developing on an Irregular at Magic High School fighting game for PlayStation Vita. They aren’t the only company working with the light novel series.

Bandai Namco is developing on an Irregular at Magic High School fighting game for PlayStation Vita. They aren’t the only company working with the light novel series. Square Enix just announced The Irregular at Magic High School: Lost Zero.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Lost Zero is a magic battle RPG for iPhone and Android. BeXide (Million Arthur for Vita) and Production IMS (Date-A-Live II) are working on the game’s graphics. The game will be free to play with additional items available for purchase.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Lost Zero is slated for release this fall in Japan.

Bandai Namco shared a second trailer for The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order. It’s a fighting game with 3D fields to battle on. Characters like Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba can be fine tuned using the CAD system.

When you start Story Mode, Tatsuya will have access to the Knuckle CAD type and Miyuki will be able to use the Baton CAD type. The Knuckle CAD is well suited for close range fighters. Baton CAD type has high attack power, but won’t let players install as many skills. Tablet CAD type is the opposite, it gives a character access to many spells. Gun CAD type is a balanced option. After you customize your fighter you can face off against friends using ad hoc play.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order comes out for PlayStation Vita on October 30.

A look at First High School's USNA transfer student.

The latest set of The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order screenshots introduce Angelina Kudou Shields, who was confirmed last month to be appearing the game.
Warning: The following character description contains spoilers that go beyond the TV anime.
Angelina, nicknamed Lina, is USNA transfer student who first appears in the Visitor Arc of the light novel. Her magical combat ability is high enough to compete with Miyuki. In reality, however, she is known as Angie Sirius, the High Commander of Stars, a USNA military organization.
Also pictured are Mizuki Shibata, Azusa Nakajo, Suzune Ichihara, Kei Isori, and Shinkuro Kichijoji, as well as the “Cloud Ball” costume included with first-print copies of the game, and one of the four costumes included with the limited edition.

Four-player multiplayer via PS Vita ad-hoc.

Our latest look at The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order, Bandai Namco’s upcoming PS Vita adaptation of the popular anime, introduces the game’s multiplayer mode, which is playable by up to four people via ad-hoc.
Multiplayer includes the following three modes, branded in the game as new interface C.A.D. lessons (thus the lengthy names):

• “Normal Match” (also known as “Interference Intensity Measurement”) – A free magic battle between characters. When a character’s health reaches zero, they’re KO’d. The player responsible for the required number of KOs is the winner. The required number of KOs differs depending on the amount of players. For two players, three KOs are required. For three players, four KOs. And for four people, five KOs.
• “Territory Collapse” (also known as “Operation Structure Measurement”) – A target match where players are tasked with destroying the cores that appear in the field to gather points and attain the highest score. When all the cores are destroyed, the player with the highest score wins. There are no health bars in this mode.
• “Psyon Flag” (also known as “Operation Velocity Measurement”) – A capture-the-flag-like mode where players are tasked with acquiring the flags from the “Psyon Flag” points on the field. When all the flags are acquired, the player with the most flags is the winner. There are no health bars in this mode.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order has an Asuna costume for Miyuki Shiba, but what’s interesting is how it’s being distributed. You can get the Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment costume by scanning a QR code on a flyer for The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order. Bandai Namco plans to distribute these flyers to video game retailers throughout Japan, but it’s up to the store to post them.

If you’re planning to import The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order you’ll still be able to get the Asuna costume. After the promotional period, the outfit will be available for free.

The demo will support ad-hoc multiplayer.
On the same day, a limited time Christmas-style Irregular at Magic High School custom PS Vita theme will also be released. It will only be available until January 7.
