pretty good episode

the story of this episode was pretty much how easy it is to get a gun, obviously

also, that kid calvin that olivia was in charge of a few episodes, he never showed back up that i recall correct? that's a storyline that would be kinda cool to revisit instead of just forgetting it forever

I think he does... I haven't seen post-Baer years in a long time.

i'm on season 15 now, episode 19. the william lewis season.
this season is pretty intense.

also, would've liked declan murphy to stick around more. i think this is where in the series i fell off before. i'd started working third shift. because at least 1 episode i hadn't seen before.

one thing they used more this season than in years past was victims/criminals showing up again

lawd yes. and Undercover was intense.
just think, the lewis thing started by flashing some girls in the park oy!

i like that Benson is shown dealing with the PTSD. zoning out, nightmares, flashes, jumpy, almost walks into moving traffic one time. and best of all, seeing a therapist and trying to get help for it. i also appreciate that although Mariska is a very pretty lady, they don't doll her up all the time, especially as she was dealing with all that. i secretly hope her and Paolo are friends after that. even acting it out had to be brutal.

also side note, i did not appreciate that the one who told the gambling ring that rollins was a cop was a victim from a few episodes back that rollins (and svu) really tried to help and went out of their way for. it seemed like in her ep she was going to turn it around. but while frustrating, i appreciate that it showed not everyone is able to move on after what happens to them and sometimes they can't get out of the life, and sometimes they may not want to

i am now about 3/4th through season 17. chicago PD came back, there was an arc with police/church corruption that was pretty good too.

but... i really don't like Benson and Tucker together. at all.
also, i don't like Elder Dodds. Mike Dodds is/was okay.
