Drama The Life of Chuck - Mike Flanagan Adapts King Again

Based on the short story from King’s 2020 anthology If It Bleeds, The Life of Chuck is three separate stories linked to tell the biography of Charles Krantz in reverse, beginning with his death from a brain tumour at 39 and ending with his childhood in a supposedly haunted house.

Very exciting to see Hamill become a staple member of the Flanagan crew. And also stoked to see Flanagan return to the big screen for the first time since Doctor Sleep in 2019.

Mike Flanagan updates us about The Life of Chuck.

Flanagan said it’s a relatively small film and that film production may begin soon despite the strike due to circumstances that mean the project does not violate WGA and SAG rules. Studios like A24 have already signed agreements which allow them to produce films without any obstacles.
