It’s really sad to see how little attention this film got. Maybe with streaming now, but after winning at TiFF there was real momentum that this could’ve been a Best Picture contender and I feel that’s all lost now.

They really should’ve released this over the Christmas season.

Flanagan is kind of the modern equivalent to Darabont when it comes to King, so it could end up being a Shawshank situation in the long run, picking up steam post-release. May or may not amount to any awards love, but we’ll see.
