I haven't noticed a difference the last couple times. This morning I haven't even been able to log in on several occasions because it just freezes on the login screen and then goes to an error screen.

I blame Hunter. Heh Heh.

I think the chipping in thing has already been talked about and was dismissed. Not sure if this is true.

You couldn't be any MORE wrong. If the threads are there, they won't be indexed. If they aren't indexed, that makes the index file smaller. If it's smaller, it loads faster. Not to mention that it'd make taking a backup of everything we have go faster, since we have less.

It's more than just deleting them. We're also having to reindex stuff, which is what is taking the longest. Why? I'm not sure, exactly, since I'm not the one doing the stuff.
