Tender love and care helps all. That's how dad did it. That's how America does it, and it's kept us from having Zach Snyder directed universes and good sammiches so far.

Batman Forever > BvS

Sandwich making 101

It looks like Krypton really liked the movie. Or he could be a WB plant to hype it:o

Saw it. Still processing. It is aiming for THE DARK KNIGHT territory and ends up in place damned close. I worry about it's BO cuz, it ain't trying to be an action romp per se. It's a character study of three men, Lex, Supes and Bats. World building is quite deft. It is for sure EMPIRE STRIKES BACK in it's vibe.

I wouldn't worry about its box office. its going to get big numbers... especially with spring break coming up.

Well if Krypton likes it it must be good, I might go watch it friday, or should I wait a few weeks and watch it in IMAX when seats are available?

I am processing it still. I will say I was on the edge of my seat A HELL OF A LOT, but... was that the film itself or the freaking three year build up? There were moments of shock and certainly it doesn't skimp on action, though I guess it seems less of an action film because the action set pieces don't drive the film, if that makes any sense? As a Superman fan, I am pleased. As a Batman fan I am pleased.

Oh, and Jesse's Lex is just great. That one moment in the trailers? Yeah, that is as "goofy" as he gets. He really is a ruthless and menacing genius mastermind.

Don't take my word as gospel. People have different tastes. After all, I am a dude that adores MOS. ;)

I can definitely say, whether someone likes it or not, it's worth the time to see it. It's quite the spectacle.

Would you say that the clip [BLACKOUT]with him telling Superman to go fight Batman[/BLACKOUT] is an accurate representation of how he acts throughout?

Well, I don't adore MoS like KRYPTON, but I do have to say I'm very encouraged by what I'm hearing about Supes in this film.

How did you feel about the distinguished Robin Atkin Downes' performance as Doomsday? Was it Shakespearian?

MoS fails because its edited like crap.

.... and i liked MoS.

Anyways, Kryp... tell me one thing... does Snyder do any slo-mo crap that isn't warranted?

other than that, how was the experience overall? A lot of cheers and what not?

Uh, yes, though he's down a notch or two below that intensity wise for most of the film.

There are as far as I remember like three short uses of slow motion during an action scene. The reactions from the crowd were great, lots of cheering and clapping, especially the world building cameo stuff. Take that with a grain of salt, it is a group of the hardcore.

Doomsday fight is what you expect given the pedigree of the creators and the resources. It is, as they say, a "slobber knocker".

Why is he still here? Just to suffer?

The spikes he's lost....the Kryptonians he's lost...

He's gonna make them give back his future.
Snake is Doomsday. He already has a spike.
