Only if there's time for me to get really drunk first.

Right. You won't even watch quality suggestions... drunk or sober.

Yeah? Aren't you currently watching Lucifer?

Oh your time is coming... it's coming soon.

I think you have me confused with CC. I've never even seen a full episode of Lucifer, so there!

Oh your time is coming... it's coming soon.

Come gather 'round Hypesters
Wherever you lurk
And admit that the threads
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be trolled to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start saltin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the snailchicks they need a-saltin'.

You're close to being cut off...and banned. Don't push your luck. I know what you did... I know it was you. I will have my vengeance... in this life or the next... Confess...

CONFESS...

CONFESS OR I SWEAR I WILL FOLLOW YOU THROUGH ALL SEVEN HELLS

I see things took their usual course in my absence.

Can I just say... God damned I am in love. The people on the second floor have an au pair, a woman from Martinique that was living in Paris before moving here to NYC. She came in at around 11pm and left her bag here in the lobby to go to the bar, Pravda that is next door. She came back at around 2am.... And she just went upstairs to sleep. We talked for a few hours and... Oh man. She is insanely beautiful by my standards, with an incredible personality. Only problem? Well besides ****ting where you eat... Turns out she is 25 years old. I would have sworn on a stack of bibles that she was in her thirties, and late at that, only a few years younger than me maybe. She will make a man very happy one day, that is for sure.

And Reek... I could never salt you. Likely because I think of you as the 25 year old au pair from Martinique of the Hype.

I feel for your situation homie. My roommates son and his wife are staying with us for a bit and his wife is a light mocha skinned nerdy chick with super curly hair. Luckily, I am a gentleman these days and not a drunk idiot who would have made a pass at her and probably got punched in the face haha.

It's weird though because Joe doesn't really like any geek stuff so I always wonder how they met.

To me that word you're looking for, despite so many fans being offended at the mention of it, is "fun." That's what SS looks to have tonally that BvS didn't, imo. People seem to think "fun" = Marvel = jokes, which isn't the case at all.
Enchantress said it in the trailer.

Good films offer all kinds of emotions. With superheroes, especially the iconic, marquee ones, "fun" is usually expected to come somewhere in the equation.

I got my fill of fun whenever Batman was on screen and for the Trinity battle. So I certainly wouldn't say there is no fun whatsoever, it's just only filled with fun for about 15% of the film.

Fun is such an unquantifiable thing. People react to different things in different ways. I was emotionally fulfilled by the weightiness of BvS even if it wasn't traditionally 'fun'. Besides, Lego Batman next year will be fun, so it's not all doom and gloom.

They are making that film so 8 year olds have a DC movie to watch.

It was a movie based in part on the Dark Knight Returns; I'd much rather be hit with a really downbeat and upsetting scene than a Marvelesque quip coming in every 10 minutes.

Carey's Riddler > Arnie's Freeze.

Roose, I expect the kind of humor you get from the Black Company or the Bonehunters from Malaz in subsequent JL films.

There are certain characters that I think inherently lighten up a story, it's just a matter of what's appropriate for the protagonists you use. I mean, if we're going to get Barry Allen as a major character in JL then I can see it being lighter and there being more room for humour and the like. But BvS was at its core about Batman and Superman beating the **** out of each other based on how Frank Miller depicted it, not to mention another famous comics storyline that wasn't exactly a barrel of laughs either. Justice League as a concept is quite a bit different and idealistic.

Yeah, I think it was well suitable for what they were basing the script off of.
