The MLB 2007 Thread

Congrats to the Kansas City Royals!!!

They finished with 69 wins and 93 loses!!!
Staying under 100 loses for the first time in 3 years!!

Next year, World Series here we come.

Oh yeah, there is only one Kansas City Royals!!!

hell yea!

Padres lost today, so they haven't made the playoffs yet. it looks like they have to play the Rockies tiebreaker tomorrow since the Rockies are winning their game.

They were winning when I checked that.

Now it's just the Yankees that may return. It's amazing. This was one of the more memorable seasons in recent memory.

i wonder if Ben Afflec will go to a sox games in the playoffs

Why would anyone wonder that? Though, maybe he'll get hit by a foul ball.

Go Red Sox in the AL
Go Cubs/Phillies/Rockies* in the NL

Where the heck is GR87..I figured he'd be all over the place since the Cubs proved us wrong.

Either still waiting by the phone for that girl to call him back, or out in public looking for a woman to say "hello" to him so he can then come back on here and say that he's found a new woman

Dammit, now I have to wipe Coke off my monitor. Thanks :cmad:

It was a good season for baseball. Great races and tons of great moments.

Yeah, I'm upset the dodgers pretty much choked the last 2 weeks but I'm not that upset. It's hard to be when you look at the future for the Dodgers. Bearing any trades or bad sisgning of verterans the kids (Bills, Kemp, Loney, Martin, Hu, Laroche,) could maybe propel the Dodgers to a contender.

Who Knows? We did trade pedro martinez, mike piazza and let roberto clemente slip away from our hands. So......anything can happen.

This was a nice threads. The fights, and the more fights, and the bloody fights. It was all good fun.

let's get this playoff **** started.

Mabye the LA Times can trade away Bill Plashke to the Chicago Tribune, or New York Times?

Oh how I hate him! He's trying to start up drama that Ned Colleti (our GM) wants to trade Matt Kemp....:cmad:

Your a D-backs fan right? I have no beef with them nor the Rockies. My Beef is with the Madres and the VAgiants.

Good Luck in the playoffs!

Goodbye, Mariners. I already miss you guys. See ya next season. :csad:

I am so glad that the Phillies won their division title. Mainly because I am a big fan of Jamie Moyer and that's his team now. So... GO PHILLIES!!
