The New and Improved Confirmed Cast as it Stands thread

Twist it hard :p
Lol, I think she's taking the contract seriously. She only said she's in Vancouver... and I think she said she's not a mutant.

UPDATE
I don't think this name has been added.
Layke Anderson is returning as the mutant kid Cypher. Thanks to Svenhorn for spotting this.

From Laykeanderson.com:
May 2005
-Legacy screens at the Cannes Film Festival this month. It is not part of the official selection.
-Has been in talks to star in Georges Bataille's controversial Story of the Eye, and may be returning for the third X-Men installment after talks with producer Ralph Winter - who with Bryan Singer, spotted Layke and cast him in X2. Several x-kids from the previous film have been re-cast, so nothing is set in stone.
-The Foyles Event features in The Sunday Times (Style section).
October 2005
-A month of jet-setting...and turning 20...
-Layke recently signed with Ken McReddie Associates in London. He is represented by Gilly Sanguinetti.
-Is presenting at the Letzebuerger Filmprais 2005 in Luxembourg, for Best European Co-Production. The award was presented to Peter Webber for Girl with a Peal Earring.
-In London filming scenes on British teen comedy Popcorn, a retelleing Cyrano de Bergerac.
-Will make a fleeting appearance in the third X-Men picture filming in Vancouver.
-Attends The Complete Retrospective Cinema Masterclass of Claire Denis at Ciné lumière.

Thanks Retro! :)

Can you remind me of who Cypher was, because I can't remember him being in the movie at all. :O

No problem Kira.:)

He was one of the students at the end of the movie after Jean's death. You can barely see him. He's posted some pics of himself while on set
Link: http://www.laykeanderson.com/links.htm

I think theres a screencap where you can see a glimpse of him in X2 somewhere on these boards.

Ahh...Doug Ramsey...Cypher can understand like, any language or communication...I guess it's a very practical power in some way...

I think he was mentioned early on as being back in X3, but I guess this just adds to the precision.

Has it ever actually been confirmed that he's Cypher, though? Or is that just fan speculation?

It is a great power. Would be cool to see him using it in the school.

Cypher was in X2? I didn't know that. *runs to living room*

Yeah, I think he's the blond-haired kid that's sitting in Xavier's class near the end..

You can barely see him. So don't be ashamed.

I think he might be somewhere in the museum scene too..

Crap...I just took the X2 dvd out of my room... I'll have to double check later..

This was on Layke's site, but I can't really tell if it's real or photoshopped:

It's probably real....It's just a horrible, horrible photo.. :p

What a lucky dude! Meeting all those cast members. :o

UPDATE
According to a X3 call sheet i found on ebay, Australian actor John Pyper-Ferguson is playing 'Mercedes Father'. I think by that they mean a father who's in a Mercedes GL car who incidentally have a product placement deal with 20th Century Fox. http://www.mbusa.com/models/future/glclass/x-men.do

The actor also has a role in She's The Man which is produced by X-men uber-producer Lauren Shuler-Donner with Vinnie Jones aka Juggernaut starring.

Interesting. Maybe the father and mother's Mercedes is almost falling off the bridge and someone saves them. Or they die.

Hmmm....Ken is listed as "Quills aka Kid Omega"

So that means those scoops that Ken was Omega Kid and Omahyra was Arclight were kinda true. Why AKA Omega Kid

No, that probably just means they put that there to screw with anyone who would read it and not have the full story. Remember the writers have said they've put fake names down for them, and he is definitely NOT Kid Omega.
