Watching the Lunar Eclipse made me look into the next Solar Eclipse and it looks like it's gonna be a TOTAL Eclipse AND on top of that, it'll go over Canada!!! It'll be August 1st, 2008. Anyone plan on seeing it?

    I absolutely will watch it . . . through a protective lens.

You don't need a protective lens for a total eclipse.

We'll probably manifest some sort of super-human abilities when this happens.

I'll be sure to check it out! Astronomy is one of my big interests, I'll definitely make sure not to miss it, hopefully the weather will allow for good seeing. I saw the lunar eclipse as well, brilliant as always!

You know, a total eclipse starts out and finishes as a partial eclipse, right? :oldrazz:

Definitely plan on seeing it, I'll make sure I'm at my dads where the sky is always a bit clearer.
Don't you need one of them funny boxes to look at the solar eclipse without burning your retinas out... Remember making them in grade school.

We might still see some of it in our area, hopefully. Well you might, I'll be in GA at the time.
