Astrology was a favorite of the Reagans.

Hilary Clinton organized séances in the White House.

Tony Blair draws a circle to call upon 'The Light' to help him guide his decisions.

The Bush family are no strangers to death cults like the Skull & Bones and the Bohemian Grove.

Does the occult taking place in our governments concern anyone?

Bohemia Grove is the worst case.

Giant OWLS anyone?

*leaves thread* :(

At least it makes them interesting.

It also explains how people like that get so much power. It's either magic or they are selling their souls to the devil.

right-wingers dabbling in the occult?

In the pudding, duh. It's the pudding cult! Run away from the delicious goodness!

Sum is going to love this thread. It tickles my fancy as well.

Does Tony Blair being a panzy count as being occult?

*The english don't even care that I said that.*

The Beatles suck and Oasis is better. And I think the queen---*Has already been assasinated*

Next to you, I look downright linear.

It concerns me that people find the "occult" either so ridiculous so that they need proof or so insidious that they couldn't believe 'their' government was involved. The Occult involves lots of reasonable things that reasonable people use or believe in.

Skull and Bones isn't a death cult. It's an old-boy's network, and if you ask the conspiracy theorists, part of the one-world ruling party. But it's not a death cult.

But yeah, it could be worse. They could be trying to reinstate the Hyperborean Sun People of Atlantis to prominence.

there's as many as would be expected. i mean they have to give themselves false jusification for what they do.

Is that why there's so much symbolism with death in the occult itself? Starting with the name "Skull & Bones."

In the sense that they're into ceremony and weird imagery, certainly. It seems they just do it to instill a sense of belonging, superiority, and secrecy. I just doubt they feel there is some kind of real mystical power behind their actions while they are doing them.

oh i think they do, but originally it was hazing getting dirt on new recruits stuff like that. so you can control them. eventually they get controlled through believing in the mystical power of cremony.

Now the real question: how many are members of the Super Adventure Club?
