Original 5 rating?

1. Cyclops
2. Beast
3.Iceman
4. Jean
5. Angel

:o So yeah he's definitely more interesting than at least 3 other fan favorites IMO.

Oh, Beast. It seems like everyone forgets he's a powerhouse as far as super-strength goes, but at least most writers remember he's a superb acrobat.

3. Angel
4. Cyclops

5. Beast

Hopefully... those writers eventually remember that the cat look sucks and drop it like that one class with the *****ebag teacher that gives good grades to the good looking girls that he flirts with during class even though it is even creepier than it sounds. That *****ebag teacher sucks.

Is it just me or have the writers forgotten that Beast is supposed to be one of the funniest X-Men? Maybe it's the general doom and gloom feel the X-Men have these days or maybe they think that Hank should still be angsty about his feline form, but he hasn't felt like himself for awhile now. He still gets the occasional witty line, but I miss the bouncy, happy-go-lucky Hank. It's like when Nightcrawler went through his "priest-phase" and everyone ignored the fun-loving swashbuckler side of his personality.

He makes occassional one liners and cracks. They haven't COMPLETELY forgotten Hank's sense of humor.

In all fairness, practically nobody is funny in the X-Men anymore. I got a chuckle out of Northstar's recent "I'm going back to Canada" crack, but the last time a character got a really good laugh out of me was during Young X-Men. Man, I miss Rockslide and Anole's rapport.

There used to be more humor when the X-men were a family. They seem less like one and more like an army at this point. Everything is so dark and gloomy with them. At least theres New Mutants which a lighter take on a different group of X-men

I heart Beast as well. He seems to be my top favourite character. He's just such an all rounder and I also like reading some of his slash fiction. ;)

Best Beast picture Ever. The end. :D

Um what happened to his other foot in that one?

It's Simone Bianchi. For as much detail as the man love to draw, he seems to only like drawing about 80% of his images. Go crack open one of the issues he drew and see how many non-existent backgrounds you can spot characters standing on. And I don't mean a simple gradient color in place of a detailed background; I mean the man literally leaves spaces blank white.

It's stylized but I still like it. :)

 oh my stars and garters...doesnt seem like Mr and Mrs McCoys baby boy says this anymore...one of my least favorite x-men, but he is a classic.

Beast is one of my favorite characters. I especially like the way he is drawn and portrayed in the Astonishing X-Men. Whedon & Cassaday really brought him to life.

Just read Astonishing X-men. Hooray for flirty Beast! :D

Have Beast and Dark Beast ever meet and if so what went down?
