The Official Erica Durance Thread - Part 1

HOUSE OF THE DEAD or Uwe Boll's first attempt at making a video game adaptation. To say, the least his talent list has expanded to the likes of Jason Statham, Burt Reynolds, Matthew Lillard (IN THE NAME OF THE KING: A DUNGEON SIEGE TALE), Kristanna Lokken, Mihcelle Rodriguez, Michael Masden, Ben Kingsley (BLOODRAYNE), Natassia Malthe (BLOODRAYNE 2 & 3), and Christan Slater (ALONE IN THE DARK).

Erica's about the only good point in the movie for the original HOUSE OF THE DEAD. HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2 did star Emmaule Vaughier post-SV though and it was more akin to the games then the first. Ok, the commentary is worth mentioning. Boll's commentaries are comedic and the screenwriter/producer, Mark A. Altman, of the movie does mention Erica's stint about having a hot tub set up and regretting the decision to not have her minus panties.

Funny thing was that I actually found the movie on my tv ondemand service last night. So given this discussion lately, I just HAD to watch it, lol.

Her parts about 10 minutes in. It's actually pretty gratitutious (imo) how long they have her topless and how they shoot it from underwater as well.

As for the movie itself, I breezed through it but good lord us it horrible. How horrible?

To compensate for their low budget, at certain points, the director inserts screenshots from the videogame whenever the characters are shooting at zombies to compensate for their lack of practical gory effects in the film.

So you'll see a character fire a gun at a zombie and it will cut to...the screenshot from the original videogame where a zombie is shot and falls. Then it will cut back to the real scene and show the zombie dead.

Seriously?

Yeah, that's Uwe Boll for ya. Can we please not discuss this moron in Erica's tread?


PS:Twilight, the fact he didn't tell her to take her panties off further proves how stupid this guy is.

Exclusive First Look: Charlie's Angels Says Halo to Erica Durance

Call it a match made in Heaven. As first reported by TVLine, Smallville alumna Erica Durance is set to guest-star on ABC’s new Charlie’s Angels this fall — and now we have a first look at her dangerously sexy covert agent in action.
Charlie’s Angels, starring Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights), Rachael Taylor (Grey’s Anatomy) and Annie Ilonzeh (General Hospital), bows a week from today. In an October episode, Durance plays Samantha Masters, a tough-as-nails, Glock-toting CIA operative who shares a romantic past with Bosley (Ramon Rodriguez).
Durance tells me that when the exes cross paths, “I wouldn’t necessarily call it a sexual tension, but there is definitely a tension there from having had a relationship before — and it’s not finished yet.”

In the scene shown above, Bosley is angling to offer back-up to his colleagues when he gets an unlikely assist. “I end up coming along for the ride, to see what the Angels are doing and how we can best help them,” explains Durance. Along the way, “There is bickering as well,” she adds with a laugh. “And then we all get into a lot of trouble!”

It sounds like her relationship with Bosley will definitely will be a call back to Smallville's Lois and Clark with the playful bantering . It's not really surprising since Al & Miles are the executive producers of this remake series. And they offend commented on how dynamic Erica's chemistry with Tom was . So it's only natural they'd try to bring that in with Samantha & Bosley in Charlie’s Angels.

Ya first ep got 8 mill and last week got 7mill didn't hear what last night episode got was going to check. But if it didn't drop any more then last week the show is probably ok for a little longer.

the pics of Amy Adams as Lois that were released this week make me appreciate Erica even more than I already did. I'm sure Adams will kill it in the acting department (even though I still always think of her as the fat sucking freak of the week from Season 1) but she just doesnt have it in the looks dept for Lois.

I want MY Lois back.

Well her episode airs on Thursday. Yes ratings haven't been good. But if it was to been canned now probably would have happened last week when ratings came in. Maybe abc is giving it a chance or at least air its season order.
