I thought we would be getting 2-3 DC movies every year. Wasn't that the plan before everything started to get moved around. Probably for the best. Let Marvel finish their phase 3. Market will have less competition.

The delay to the Flash movie is what threw the 2018 schedule out of whack.

But then again. Who's to know when this big blockbuster superhero film bubble is going to burst? It's going to happen. Every generation evolves differently from the next. If the WB wastes too much time... there might not be a big enough market left for both Disney or WB.

I think there are too many superhero films scheduled to release every year. For the first time in ever, I am actually planning to skip a few cbm movies at the theater.

I skipped a few myself, including the last Spider-Man.

Same here. I have yet to see Logan, Guardians 2 and Spider-Man Homecoming. I just can't get hyped for these movies like i used to. Visually they don't appeal to me as they look like everyday movies and don't have that comic book like atmosphere.

Having said that, the first Thor Ragnarok & Black Panther trailers looked awesome.

Surprisingly I have seen all three despite my lack of anticipation for them, which maybe one of the reasons why I feel like skipping Ragnarok. Neither Ragnarok nor Black Panther interest me. I think I am satisfied with MCU and therfore not "looking forward to more". Only MCU film I am interested in is Infinity War. I am interested in none of the Fox CBMs. I think I have seen enough X-Men films and have no further interest in them. Justice League and Star Wars will satisfy my appetite for Sci-Fi this year. A few more DCEU films (Still yet to capitalize on their most popular characters and bring them into a shared universe) and I will lose interest in CBMs altogether.

I have to say Jeremy Irons has quickly become my favorite version of Alfred !

Indeed it is and I hate you for taking it away from me...:o

I joined the group but I may not post much in there that much. I like to post on the boards. Just letting you know.

Same. I'll definitely pop in from time to time, though.

I think people are already skipping some CBMs every year now, but there's plenty of money to go round (for now).

Yeah - I'm with ya guys - this is the first year I cut out Marvel films just because of over saturation and not a feeling of uniqueness to there movies to justify seeing there characters.

Hoping DC can continue there path (whether critic accepted or not) of being very different from one another.

I watched Logan, GOTG2, WW and plan to see JL later this year.

Skipping Spidey and Thor, next Marvel movie to watch might be BP, or IW.

Hard to believe the film is less than four months away.
