Sony invests $250 million in Fortnite maker Epic Games

I read it's a ~2% stake. Also, it may not just concern games considering Epic is now in the TV/movie industry.

With such deal, I'm hopeful for more PS exclusives coming to PC on Epic Games Store.

I don't like the look of the new sleeve. They just made it black and white and they are still using the usual blu ray case which have been in the market since the mid 2000s. It looks cheap and lazy to me. I would change the case to white and shorten the height of the case. As for the ps5 banner at the top it should have been slimmer and the text would be in the center similar to the XboX One games.

That's how I am now as well. Even though I am slowly transferring all my games over to digital I still am getting the disc version of this mainly because of the 4k Blu-ray player. Although I hope I can still play the The Order and Until Dawn on the PS 5

I still mostly by discs. The only 2 recent games ive gotten digital is Resident Evil 3 and Ghost of Tsushima, but I have no plans on going digital for a while after getting a PS5. gonna be all physical for me.

IDK, maybe it's just me, but there's something about the white color scheme that the PS5 is using for everything that just feels a bit "boring." Not just the box art, but the controller and even the console itself (which has a cool design). Like it doesn't visually pop or stand out.

Top two look the best, and have a cleaner and more official look. The logo and "PS5" could have been shiny silver, and would have stood out really well against the black.

The official banner looks cheap and will just be a strip of uncolored paper.

The article even points out it is apparently photoshopped, and was found on Resetera, a gaming forum. Not that they can't get genuine information but it is about as accurate to say someone on the Hype forums scooped everyone else on the PS5's unannounced variant colors before it was officially released.

Spider-Man is the only eXclusive coming at the end of the year? Am I right.

If the starting price is $550 to $650, its probably better to wait til more eXclusives are released. I finished Spider-Man 2018 under 2 weeks (and I waited like 6 months for the price to go down to $20) and Miles Morales is probably a shorter side game. And if I'm not wrong, I don't think there are that many big 9th gen games only coming to ps4/xbsx by the end of 2020. Like I can only think of GodFall, and for me that doesn't even look like a day 1 purchase.

I'm not complaining about thenew controller. But they've used ps1's controller for three gens with some tweaks. While the design of the ps5's controller looks so different from the ps4. The only things thatlook similar are the speaker and the analog sticks. But even the speaker have fewer holes.

Each gen's controller has been a refinement of the previous gen. The PS5 controller still the same basic shape and same layout. And it could be much much worse.
