THE official *queens of the stone age* thread

1. No One Knows
2. Lost Art
3. First It Giveth
4. I Never Came
5. Leg of Lamb

the drums on I Never Came were just amazing. i'd love to see that live.

I just heard QOTSA for the first time YESTERDAY and they are great.

I love Songs for the Deaf (the only album I've heard so far) and I love the song that has the great drum sequence (continous drums...like a "duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh, duh" in between singing breaks)....I think it's First It Giveth..but not sure.

favourite member: joey castillo (drummer)
favourite album: songs for the deaf

happiest moment: going to hyde park to see foo fighters supported by queens of the stone age

hang on a sec, was that at hyde park...on the 17th of June?

i about died on that day, it was so hot:o

for the whole QOTSA support, I was on ma mates shoulders. wearing the police helmet I found, for the protection.

yes mate i was there rocking out

it was soooooo awsome

there performance of no one knows ****ing A everything is awsome i was mimicking the drums

nicely done. i wasn't too happy with the sound system. could've been a hell of alot louder.

was a great day tho. did u get caught in the massive bottle war whilst we awaited the foo's?

unless u were in the golden circle...:down :(

luckily we were literally on the outside throwing some of them

we had drunk so much by that time we had almost a pub full so if someone even threw one bottle all of it would go back to them

sorry for it being a myspace link, but check the first video on the right:up:

it's all the bottles. pretty awesome.

dang, on the outside? i was a few feet away from dave grohl when he played everlong opposite the golden circle people. was pretty damn awesome.

one of the best days I've ever had, and meeting a random new zealander, who was giving me tons of free vodka and coke...pretty much rocked, too.

wish i saw more of QOTSA, i got bombarded by the bottles due to being on a mates shoulders :/

no i was on the outside of the bottlefight so i could see it perfectly i was close

:) i wanted to touch josh

same here :/

but i wanted to touch dave grohl more than josh:o

was it me...or did lemmy from motorhead, keep saying he was gonna finish off with a next song...and then continued to play 3 more?

I don't mean he did that once, he did a couple of times :S

yeah he did

and i could predict the words he was gonna ing

funnily enough julliette lewis was good

they weren't too bad.

my god...AVA though. Tom Delonge's speech.

'do whatever you want in your lives...you can do it. Just try...'

in my opinion, AVA sucked.

best bits. QOTSA and the Foos.
