So all of them except Ruffalo got matching tattoos which I think it's awesome. Sure the Suicide Squad did it first, but these guys are in movies together that don't suck.

Anyway, I still can't find anywhere an actual picture of what tattoo they actually got. Anybody here know?

Here you be. It's the Avengers logo with a piece of each character's symbol and a six.

I've never understood why anyone would want to poke holes in or graffiti their body but whatever.

As much as these guys get paid, u would think the quality of the tattoo would reflect that. Lol.
I can see why Ruffalo didn't want any part of that tattoo on him. Haha.

I kind of see what you mean. I'd expect something more spectacular or obviously high quality. But on the other hand it's small and simple and I kind of like it. It's like a badge of honor and family

“Five of the original six Avengers got a tattoo,” Robert Downey Jr. exclusively tells EW. “And the sixth was the tattoo artist, who gave it to five of us, the one who opted out being Mark Ruffalo. It was (Scarlett) Johansson’s idea, and she and (Chris) Evans did it in New York. Then, their New York guy, Josh Lord, who is amazing, flew out to LA, he did me, did (Jeremy) Renner, and then we just bullied (Chris) Hemsworth into doing it, and he got it. And each one of us drew a line on the artist with his own tattoo gun and it was a total massacre. Each of us contributed to giving the tattoo artist the sixth tattoo that he designed for us. By the way, he’s got another one on him that Scarlett did, which is beautiful, which is crazy, because the line she drew on him, which was just supposed to be a straight line, looked like a lightning bolt. It was a mess.”

Bonded together forever I think it is cool.

I have tattoos, I have thought about getting a Marvel related one.

Honoring a great human legacy of simply living and existing for today as tomorrow isn't yet written

Didn't the Lord of the Rings actors do it first? The fellowship that is.

Actually....the nine actors of the fellowship of the ring in THE LORD OF THE RINGS did it first. They got the elvish word for NINE put on.

Here 's me betraying my inner geek - John Rhys Davies didnt get a tattoo but one of his stunt doubles got it instead. I know that because he was at Armageddon ( NZ's comic con) in 2011, and talked about it, as well as some other interesting stories.

I was just reading up on that....the article said he sent the stuntman because he was on screen more than Davies. It said director Jackson got one of the tattoos also.

With stuff like this, I dont even know how Disney could ever recast these actors.

Good thing though is most are still young to play the character even after a long hiatus, and though RDJ is in his 50’s, playing Iron Man doesn’t really require a strenuous amount of work :woot:
