Besides i think this is the direction they'll be going in, hence the SM3 toyline:

Me and my brother passed an aisle in Target (the toy aisle...to go to the video games section) and we saw it, and I wanted to buy it because it looked very awesome actually...if they made the Lizard that way, I'll be fine...but, just a coat and pants/shorts.

You know it would be much more realistic to not have Connors revert back and forth into the Lizard. Rather, play it out as that he's slowly beginning to change and just keeps on changing. So he keeps his clothes when he's half-way through the transformation and clothes just automatically tear off when he's completed mutated into , perhaps 7 feet tall, Lizard. This whole process could take about first half of the movie, maybe.

I really like that idea. Meanwhile, before he fully becomes a Lizard, Spider-Man will be battling Kraven, Kraven wins and is now after this Lizard creature that came up overnight.
