It drives me nuts to be on the phone with people no more than a few minutes away. It drives me bat**** insane. I don't mind being on the phone for more than five minutes if you're not someone I could potentially see every day, but if you're a stones throw away, don't call me four times a day just to bull****, cause I probably won't answer after the first time, if I even answer then.

I just don't like the phone, period. Just don't call me ever.

I still don't understand the people that "hate" the answering machine. Just leave you f-ing name, & number. It isn't rocket science!:cmad:

I thought it was just me. Nice to know anti-sociality is more common than I was led to believe.

I don't like it when Drak calls me and does the whole "heavy breathing" thing... I mean, come on dude. Just because it worked once...

I tell ya what I hate. These *******s who live on their cellphones. They walk around in public and yell on their phones like they're important.

I've also noticed its an "urban" fad to walk around with those stupid ****ing bluetooth ear pieces. NEWSFLASH! You are not that important! Whoever is calling isn't going to hang up when you don't pick up on the first ring. When you walk around and talk on it and no one can tell you're talking into that thing, you look like a crazy dumb ass who is talking to himself.

Its fine and preferrable when you're in a car though. Just not in public, IMO.

I also hate people that have their cell phone ringer volumes turned up to 100 decibels, then they let it ring and don't answer it, so I have to hear some rap song that makes an even more annoying ring tone.

Maybe your friends are self conscious about their breath or something... or maybe you smell like ass. Just throwing that out there...

In my case, it's not so much anti-sociality, I just hate talking on the phone more than a few minutes when you're literally a five minute drive from me.

Now if it were, say, Bella or C. Lee or someone, I don't mind talking for longer, since it's not like we'd just say "let's get together this weekend and knock back a few beers" or whatever. I think I got my point across.

Eh, the Bluetooth thing only annoys me when someone starts talking, and I respond, and then they're like "Hold on, Jenna. There's some jerk trying to talk to me while I'm on the phone". Then I pee on them, and I feel better.

And the ringer thing, I agree. If I heard "Poppin' my Colla'" one more time, I was gonna drop him like he was hot.....down the goddamn elevator shaft.

I dunno what's worse. That I KNEW that reference was gonna come up, or that you'd be the one to make it?

I ABHORE.. absolutely HATE being on the phone!.. i'd rather text msg someone....

as LIFE/GOD what have you likes to eff with ppl... i make my living on the phone:cmad: :csad: :cmad: :csad:

If I ever do use the phone I like to get the purpose of the call across quick and then end it. Prolonged phone-calls are one of the worst things.

Could be worse. Your head could be on fire.

Well, I did say one of.

Yes. If I wanted to be talking on the phone, I'd've called you.

We have an all-new staff and there's no way you can effectively pass on the 8,000 stupid details you have to know to do the job so I get called with ******ed questions 7 or 8 times a night.

Urgh, having to use the phone in work is even worse. Working in an office was my ultimate nightmare job. Thank god they fired me.

It was meant for the post above yours, actually. But it works. :)

"Where's the 'any' key?"

You really should be relieved that I made it... and also awe at my greatness. :word:

So much scrolling... just wait for the inevitable "Quick Reply" :(

I have more than one friend who call me and then fall asleep because it is 4 am in their time zone. When I tell them wake up and go to bed, they complain like 5 year olds about wanting to stay up and talk.

On the other side, I have people who call me at the ungodly hour of 9 am and when they ask if they woke me and I tell them yes, they still insist on having a conversation with me.

Then, there are others who call the cell and want to talk on the cell when they can just call me at home and not waste my minutes.

I hate the phone.
