Been waiting to see how this was going to look. Amazing play and amazing cast, but I've been worried about it being Malcom Washington's directorial debut. But it looks like they're doing a lot of cool stuff beyond the confines of the stage setting. Very exciting to see how it all turns out!

Some very good performances in this film. Danielle Deadwyler did her thing. Nice to see Sam in a more subtle role than the ones he's most famous for. Looking forward to what Malcolm Washington does in the future.
