Jackson is the man. Regardless of the fact he's in every other film ever made. If you can't see him, he's probably background noise, yelling 'mutha****a!'.

Yes, he's been in a lot of crappy movies, but always elevates crappy movies past utter $#!t with his presence. Case in point, Deep Blue Sea, his death in the movie makes the movie. Getting eaten by a shark just after giving the rousing inspriation speech, awesome!

Same with his death in Star Wars Episode 3 ROTS.

I mean, yeah, pulp fiction was good and he's got a few other gems but speaking in mass generalities, most of his movies just aren't that good but he always gets a lot of hype on them just cause he's Samuel L "Mother-****in" Jackson.

I've seen both, actually. Just because he doesn't say "mother****er" and is his characters is more helpless in Changing Lanes doesn't mean that his acting is that different...cause it's not.

And as for Unbreakable, he plays a unique character but the only thing that really changes about Jackson's performance is that he's quieter than usual. Big deal.

I thought Jackson was great in A Time To Kill, Coach Carter and his Spike Lee movies.

Is Jackson in too many movies? yes he probabley is.
Is Jackson a bad actor? No

Love him or hate him the guy is entertaining 80% of the time........if for his amazing different hair styles alone.

I like him, but he does essentially play the "Sam Jackson" character in every movie he's in. Best role: Jules Winnfield.
