Superman Returns the 'piano' scene

That's called self-defense of others my friend.

self-defense of others is an oxymoron

I think everyone who follows the movies, knew this was Supes kid the moment it was revealed in the script that Lois had a son.

The only uncertainty was would he have powers or not.

If they do sequels with his son in them, I think they'll approach it like
Superboy (power level/ abilities) re; spawned from Supes DNA after
'The Reign of the Supermen'

Lex's reaction when he hears that his henchman was "killed by a piano"

Supermans son is basically supermans version of little kid Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars Episode 1, trying to get all the little kids exited, nothing but a marketing ploy. Thanks Bryan Singer for turning the man of steel into nothing more than a marketing cash cow.

Oh well, at least you can stop wasting your time moaning about the sequel, because then you know what to expect.

well if it doesn't start making more money, there won't be a sequel.

It's only Saturday. Give it a chance!

Umm...he probably didn't even know his own strength, and it wasn't intentional.

Also we need to realise he is just a kid. What was he going to do, formulate a plan where he can apprehend the criminal without harming him and getting his mother out of danger?

OR THROW A HEAVY OBJECT AT THE NASTY MAN WHO IS HURTING MOMMY?

Too...much...logic.......must...resume...stupid...fanboy...b****ing!

:P

This is why I think it'd be wiser for superman to raise his own kid. The boy could really cause some serious damage and possibly death if he doesn't know how to use his powers properly.

I'm sick of seeing the piano scene
when are we gonna see the scene with Krypton exploding?

I wonder, am I the only one that thought that dude was going to rape her? I mean....it looked like that's where that sleaze ball was going to take it...atleast, a dude that creepy seems like it....lol, atleast after he broke her face open.

Part of me thought that I mean...he WAS in prison.

I just assumed that the thug was going to bash her head in with the rock he picked up.

He was about to chuck it at her from a very close range.....Of course the audience would cheer this scene. (Unless you wanted to see Lois's head look like a canoe)

same here.

Let's not assume too much. I personally think Lois came of as a bit selfish in the movie, and she probably got her freak on with Captain Marvel, Kalibak or Lobo (or all three) about five or six years ago, wink wink.

Would lex have had the right to kill her for snooping around his boat?

that scene makes me want to play Chopsticks with my sister. :)

Man I about walked out when this happened.
i hate that kid. Hate the kid. Hate what it does to Superman's character.
Just plain hate it.
Some of the people did leave.
Got some boo's.

One little kid down front cheered...
