From the executive producers of “The Blacklist” and starring Wesley Snipes and Philip Winchester (“Strike Back,” “Fringe”) comes an action-packed Las Vegas thriller about a former military operative turned security expert who is drawn into a high-stakes game where an organization of wealthy individuals gamble on his ability to stop some of the biggest crimes imaginable from playing out. Can he take them down from the inside and get revenge for the death of his wife, or is it true what they say: The house always wins.

Looks like they reverted back to just making him an operative after the brief sniper switch, and the concept seems slightly tweaked from the original. At any rate I think it looks pretty cool and it's good to see Wesley Snipes getting more work.

I think this looks really weak. It's like an overly glitzy, poor man's Person of Interest.

I don't see this going for the long haul... I smell cancellation...

The show seems to be leaning heavily on "Hey, we have Wesley Snipes doing a TV show" when I don't really get anything special from it. This and Blindspot are heavily trying to go into the Blacklist mold but even that show is showing signs of creative and story fatigue.

Dammit none of these new shows are appealing to me

The thing about that is... who really cares? At least with something like How To Get Away With Murder, aside from being a great show, Viola Davis is actually relevant. When's the last time Wesley Snipes was in anything that anyone cared about? Pre-tax evasion, I'm guessing.

I wouldn't exactly call it a great show since a show should always be more than one character. I tried watching the first 3-4 episodes and just couldn't get into it as the surrounding cast around Davis is plain, boring, and varying in quality while the storylines never hooked me. Plus, I'm not in the demo that the show (and much of ABC's lineup) is going for: young and female. I fit the young part (under 30) but I'm definitely not the right sex.

Yeah so far there is nothing from the new shows that really feels like a must watch. This one at least looks like action fun and isn't as soapy as the others or sci fi/supernatural based.

The biggest problem with HTGAWM is that the characters are pretty much all horrible people, so there's no one to root for.

This show better have Wesley Snipes say "always bet on black" :)

That line was a favorite in our house. In our minds, Charles Rain responded by putting Michael Horse on the line, who proceeded to say "Have YOU ever play Roulette? Always bet on Red!"

Philip and Wesley seems to have fun.

It was ludicrous but fun, I'm going to enjoy it's silliness while it lasts which I don't expect to be for long.

Yeah it's ridiculous. It's like Person of interest but with gambling and OTT action/getaway scenes.

It kept my interest and I'll keep it on the dvr, but it's not something I'll eagerly anticipate.

It's totally silly and OTT and I truly don't expect it to last long, but I'm a sucker for action shows (it seriously felt like a jolt of energy after the bore that was Heroes Reborn) and I like the leads, so I'll keep it on the DVR while it lasts.

I enjoyed the pilot. The twist at the end with the wife has me very intrigued for what happens next. The trailer for the rest of the season looks really good.

Daisy Betts hopes the wife is alive, she could use more than guest roles.

Nothing mind blowing but it did have a good bit of action and Wesley Snipes gets to be his charismatic self. Might check out a couple more episodes before I make up my mind on this.

The action in the second episode was fantastic movie style quality.

It was directed by Michael J. Bassett who was the EP and director of Strike Back. Which was easily one the best action series around along with Banshee.

Ah I see, the opening sequence had a bit of a Fast & Furious heist feel to it.

Yep, I have yet to be bored by this show, which is more than I can say for most of the other new shows of the season, so regardless of how ridiculous and OTT it may be, as long as they're at least able to keep the action up at this level, I'll keep watching.

I'm a big Strike Back fanboy, so I'll see anything with Winchester in it. He's been great and I'm enjoying the show so far. The premise is kinda corny and some of the action is cheesy, but I like it. Wesley Snipes is also really enjoyable and I love that blonde British babe.

I wanted Philip Winchester to play Iron Fist...
