Sony had a Playstation Premiere event today which is litterally just a drop in the bucket small taste of what they will be showing at E3. Here's the sumary so far.

Sorry if it blows, fellas. I did my best...

Less than a week after E3 in the States, Sony continues to fire it's cannons, revealing details on not only older games, but brand new ones as well. With the almighty Tokyo Game Show a mere 2 months away, this event isn't necessarily huge, but has already offered some exciting new additions to the PS3 line-up for the future.

White Knight Story

Level 5's (Dark Cloud 1 and 2, DQVIII, Rogue Galaxy) RPG continues to shape up nicely.

The newest info coming out of this event is the option of main-character customization. Level 5 showed the comparison with the photo to display the flexibility and capability of the character customisation tools to allow for close mirroring of yourself or other real people.

Level 5 confirmed that much more (perhaps even a playable demo) will be ready for TGS.

Disgaea 3

I'm not familiar with this series, but I know some here are. Well, it seems Nippon-Ichi is bringing the 3rd entry to the PS3.

Nobi Nobi Boy

Bandai Namco Games unleashed a big surprise at Sony's PlayStation Premier event today in Tokyo with the announcement of an all new game from Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi.

Titled Nobi Nobi Boy, all we have on this PlayStation 3 title are just a couple of pieces of artwork. The artwork and name ("Nobi" can mean "to stretch" in Japanese) suggests that the game will center around a flexible wormlike creature of some form. -from ign.ps3

Takahashi was rumored to be 'retired' from game development due to his disappointment @ Namco milking the **** out of Katamari, but after brainstorming (and a rumored begging from the mother company), Takahashi has come up with another bizarre, genre creating masterpiece

Part 2

Valkyrie of the Battlefield

SEGA's new PS3 game from the staff from the Sakura Taisen series. It is said to have a 1935 WW2 European setting in watercolor. Screens and more details as they come.

The creator of Ryu ga Gotoku (Yazuka), Toshihiro Nagoshi, originally believed to be working on the game is, in fact, working on a brand new IP. It's set to be announced September 14th.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Kojima demonstrated the first real game play of MGS4 at Playstation Premiere 2007 in Tokyo today.

GT5 and Another game!

In this demo Snake infiltrates into a battle field, then becomes a bronze statue or hides in a drum. After rolling in a drum Snake gets dizzy but he cheers up after finding girl pics. The small robot, Metal Gear Mk II, also appeared in the demo. The details of the online service are going to be unveiled at the Metal Gear 20th anniversary party on July 24th.

No word on any official embargos or anything, but naturally if a video or more details come out I'll post here.

That's all we've seen so far GT5 looks good!

I read that Loco Roco is going to be a PS3 title via the PSN. Its funny bc after the Tekken DR thread, I was wondering if Sony would bring other PSP titles over like that

This is taken from the Gamercast Network forum http://www.gamercastnetwork.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5434

July 17, 2007 - A cameo appearance as part of Sony's Home announcement earlier this year was confirmation enough for many, but today Sony finally made it official: LocoRoco is coming to your living room. Tentatively titled Buu Buu Cocoreccho! by LocoRoco, this PS3 sequel is set to be made available as a PlayStation Network download.

We have just a few details at this point, and none of them shed any real light on what we can expect from the game. Sony describes the game as "It's LocoRoco, but it's not -- a peculiar extra chapter." That, and a sentence with three different uses of the world play: "Even if you don't play it [as in control the game], the world and the LocoRoco will play [as in both playing amongst themselves and as in playing back like a video] on their own."

Whatever all that means, the PS3 version of LocoRoco is said to feature 200 LocoRoco characters in a new world. You'll be able to use the SixAxis for motion-based controls.

While release information was not announced, the game is listed by Sony as being 95% complete, so we don't expect the wait to be too long.

It's titled LocoRoco interactive Screensaver though, how could you get trophies from it.
