The Dark Knight The Poster

How should the Poster look? I think a Giant Joker Card Would be cool.

Not to sound too definitive, but I really doubt the Joker will be given that much of a spotlight in the poster. Hell, by all reports, he won't even have that much of a spotlight in the film itself.

What would I want it to be? Something with Batman - probably alone since it would be a teaser - that sorta hints at the plot of the movie. All of BB's posters seemed to convey "Here's Batman!" which that's what they were supposed to do. With this one, I think it should more convey that, to put it bluntly, Batman's in deep ****.

I think we're a little too early in the game for discussing teaser/theatrical posters. However, if we're talking one-sheets ala the SM franchise, then I say go for a character poster of Batman. Of what, I don't know. Just some cool-looking pose I guess with a nice background.

There's nothing much else to say but take a page out of SM's merchandising techniques.

Nolan stated that things are going to be much harder in for the dark knight so i think we should see that in that in the campaign as well.No more teases where batman is concerned, more dramatic less moody poses.

I'd like to see things like this made in to live-action posters.

And for the Joker i'd have a much darker version of poster of The Mask. Instead of the light/pleasant thing we have here you could have a different background(maybe Gotham) with the Joker's smile(grinning) and the purple suit barely visable. Maybe he could be holding a card i don't know.

holy freaking crap thats SICK!

here's an idea though: steal a page from SM3. use the lentiel poster (where it changes from red suit to black suit) but instead use the bat-logo with The Dark Knight over it, but when you look at it from a different angle, a Joker card is over it? just a thought
