Being a little nit picky, but the Flair promo actually said "Fire me! I'm already Fired!" not "you can't fire me"

I found this the other day. It's the only time HBK and Sting have been in the ring together. It's a Christian themed wrestling event.

Cool to see Sting and HBK in the same ring. Here's the whole event

oh right
whoops me. I was trying to look for that promo to get the right sentence, but yeah "Fire me! I'm already Fired!"

Hey, that was easily the best suggestion for the new thread title so far :yay: I loved that promo and that whole show was great. Good Piper/Hart segment and the first Goldberg vs. Sting match was on that Nitro. I still have it on tape

Jeez, Jeff Hardy is a fat mess.. he looks awful in comparison to the last time I actually saw him on TV, which to be truthful was a few years ago :O

Must be the King Kong Bundy diet plan he's on.

He's a far cry from this...which wasn't all that long ago. :csad:

Well he wasn't exactly clean then either. Jeff is a bit plumper these days but it hasn't affected his work in the ring and it's not like you look at him on TNA tv and go, "oh man is he a fat ass"

I voted for The Pro-Wrestling Thread: (Insert Dave Batista Quote Here) and the quote should be "Duct tape are you serious?? Duct Tape?!"

Crap, I should've voted for that! :lmao:

I havnt voted yet on the thread title.

- Cody Rhodes' new theme song is Smoking Mirror by musician Matt White. Cody debuted the new song and a new entrance on last night's SmackDown.

- WWE may have signed the sister of Divas Champion Alicia Fox to a developmental deal. Christina Crawford made her FCW debut on Thursday night in a Divas Bikini contest that Alicia also competed in.

- Apparently WWE officials and Triple H did not want the word of his recent surgery to get out. Blue Jays pitcher Dirk Hayhurst, who broke the news on his Twitter, has since removed the posts.

He might not have been clean...but he clearly took better care of himself then.

Dusty Rhodes discusses his sons
Dusty Rhodes recently did an interview with Brian Fritz of FanHouse.com. Below are some highlights:

"I think Goldust had his own agenda. Dustin had a dream and he knew from the start that's what he wanted to do. Cody took another path. At 19 years old, he went out to Los Angeles to Howard Fine's acting studio and spent some time out there. And he broke the news to me one night on a road trip going back to Atlanta from hunting season. I had already tried to talk him out of it at the time. He had been so successful as an amateur and had an opportunity to go and wrestle in college. The acting thing was cool but it was something he wanted to do. So he went at it full bore and he's achieved so much in a very short period of time for a young guy. He's kind of proved me wrong. He gets better each and every time out."

"Goldust always did but he always had his own agenda where he was doing his own thing. He does a lot right now though because he's a great coach and a great teacher in the WWE for the young kids when they come up and get an opportunity to be in the ring with him like (Curt) Hawkins or (Trent) Barretta or (Caylen) Croft. Of the two, Cody is more of a student of the game; old-school, relates back to everything he's seen and every tape. Cody is just constant with picking my brain. He has his way of going about it where he'll pick my brain on certain things. I'm livin' la vida loca. To be in Kissimmee in one of the old buildings in the old territory and be with them and have some bobbleheads and sign some autographs then get in the ring and just try to stay out of harms way until it's time for the bionic elbow

Solid episode of SD. Loved Swagger dragging Rey through the arena.

I'm excited for Cody's Future
Is it wrong that I prefer him over DiBiase?

Is it wrong that I prefer him over DiBiase?
Not at all. I've been saying from the start that he was the better wrestler and character and would do much better if he would have a large body frame. But he's also still very young, so there is a chance in the future.

Is it wrong that I prefer him over DiBiase?

Nope, right now Cody is coming into his own and making you want to see more of him whereas Ted is usuing his dads Gimmick and were waiting on him to become his own within this gimmick.Mayrse is helping though :o

On his Twitter over the last couple of days, Jeff Jarrett has been teasing a huge announcement, apparently to happen at the PPV tomorrow. He posted a few photo hints about what the announcement would be about:

Also, a couple of days ago, Dixie Carter tweeted "Oh, if you guys only knew who I met with today..... You will."

Probably

Paul Heyman.

Is it wrong that I laughed at Rey being bullied by Swagger? Swagger should have said give me your lunch money, or shake him while he had him by the ankle and then pick up any change that fell out of his pocket.

I love how statements like that just roll off the tongue of people like Arn Anderson , lol.

Jeff Hardy will loose the weight if he does jail time. I hope he does make a comeback , it's not looking to good.

Why do all the Triple H thread titles have to be of a negative connotation?

Not all of us hate Triple H...

Great Quotes by Arn Anderson

"I don't want to toot my own horn but...toot, toot."

In a recent interview, Arn was asked: "Why do you let Ric Flair run the Horsemen?" Arn's response: "That's just it, I LET him run the Horsemen!"

Name for this thread:The Wrestling Thread: Arn Anderson says "I don't want to toot my own horn but...toot, toot."
