Miz can do better but unfortunately had to share time with Del Rio who simply talks nonsense, it was if he hadn't even listened to what Miz and Punk had said before weighing in. It was funny how a Punk chant started while he'd been silent for a couple of minutes, it was like a verbal Bat signal.

The brawl at the end was well done, especially the bulldog through the table, crowd popped big, but leaving out both Ziggler and Cena is an error, or a test for Punk's ability to draw..

When you think how the show started and how it ended it is disappointing as regards the TLC PPV. Punk vs Cena was the rivalry of the year and it would be fitting for them to be in a match together on the last PPV of the year, I personally thought Punk vs Cena vs Del Rio would cap off the trios rivalry through the last 5 months, but even adding Miz in was ok as the match is then built on the 4 guys who have been the central figures all year.

However not only have they taken the Cena factor out but they teased Ziggler getting a main event match and he showed in the opening mic segment he's ready, not to mention he'd easily be the show stealer in a TLC match, yet they pull him out as well, leaving Punk with the two weaker opponents.

Worse than that he talks about it ALL the time and the kids couldn't care less. Hell most of the adults don't seem to care much either.

Del Rio was horrible on the mic tonight. Horrible. Not only did he give Punk and Miz a huge target and ammunition he also gave them 50 caliber guns.

If the Rock were there tonight (even via satellite) he would have put Del Rio down worse than he used to put down Kevin Kelly.

Punk needs to retain. it'd be a mistake if he doesn't. Del Rio or Miz winning the title would mean absolutely nothing at this point because neither one is over as a legit main event guy.

It could have even done without Cena to freshen up the match but it absolutely needed Ziggler to help carry the in ring portion. Del Rios good but not great in the ring and like Sage said people don't care about him. Miz has some personality but he's weak in the ring. Punk's basically going to have to carry the lions share of the in ring story telling by himself. If he had Ziggler the two of them could at least do their part together to make it more dynamic.
