Im not talking about muscleheads...look at guys like Neidhart and Bigelow...yea they were big guys but they were solid...Neidhart could probably still kick all our asses today...I know wrestling needs various shapes and sizes...but Harris doesn't have a shape.....because he jiggles around so much

I honestly don't mind guys like this size in wrestling if they can move. Keeps it real and gives a good balance of different physiques

Harris looks better than Bigelow did. Bigelow was just someone who threw his weight around better.

Anyway, I could care less what Husky looks like. Its not like I'm watching the guy for his looks. I could see how it would matter if they were trying to attract more women into watching but theres already enough beefcake for them to check out. I'd much rather Husky improve his work in the ring and on the mike.

IMO Its GOOD to have variety when it comes to body types in wrestling. It breaks up the sameness and cookie cutter/factory produced nature of the shows and the talent.

In the 80's and 90's they had guys off all shapes sizes and looks on the roster and those were some pretty good times.

Da Dweem was hardly what I would call svelte and Bam Bam wasn't exactly watching his figure either.

Noooo, watching Viscera walk was like watching a train wreck. You wanted to look away, but couldn't.
 
I actually celebrate the presence of doughy physiques and male boobies in the ring, but even I have to say that I find Husky Harris difficult to watch.

the climate of wrestling is also different now than 15-20 years ago...back then a lot of guys ended up in wrestling because they didn't have any other options so they planned to wrestle as long as they could

thats not the case today...a lot of guys only plan to do this for so long, and start planning for life after wrestling

I think that requires an adjustment for both big promotions (WWE and TNA)
 
Can't talk about portly wrestlers without mentioning Rodney Anoa (Yokozuna), John Tenta (earthquake), and Fred Ottman (The Shockmaster).
 
What the hell happened to the Man Mountain? Did he get fired?
 
King Kong Bundy, Bam Bam Bigelow, John Bradshaw Layfield.....

Ok, that last one was out of line. But seriously the other 2 were much more rotund than Husky

Big Vis's folds within folds was like a paradox.

Yoko, Big Vis, Earthquake, Tugboat, Adrian Adonis, Dusty Rhodes, King Kong Bundy, Bam Bam, Bastion Booger, Blue Meanie...I could keep going. Husky Harris looks thin and malnourished compared to some of these heavy hitters.

Some could actually work better than guys a couple HUNDRED pounds thinner. Give me Yoko over Tyler Reks any day of the week and twice on Sunday...just makes sure its not around lunch or dinner time.

When asked on Twitter why he chose the name 'Tyler Reks', Tuft's response was: "Tyler is my wife and my first choice for the name of our first son - when we have kids. Reks is just a sick last name! And when I win a World Championship, people can chant "Reks Wrecks"

He made his main roster debut on ECW on Sci Fi on the June 30, 2009 episode, with a surfer in-ring persona, in a backstage promo with Zack Ryder. Reks had suffered a knee injury just prior to his debut, but was able to work through it and made his in-ring debut on the July 2, 2009 episode of WWE Superstars, losing to Ryder. On the July 21 episode of ECW, Reks gained his first win after defeating Paul Burchill, and then beat him again the following week. Reks participated in a 10-man battle royal on the September 15 edition of ECW for an ECW Championship opportunity against Christian, but the match would go on to be won by Zack Ryder. Tuft would begin a brief hiatus from television starting in November 2009 and began mainly working dark matches as a heel. Reks was one of the participants in the 26 man pre-show battle royal at WrestleMania XXVI. In late April 2010, Reks joined the SmackDown roster. After months of only working dark matches, Reks made his SmackDown television debut as a heel on the October 15 edition of the program, with an unshaved look and wild hair, some chest hair without making reference to his time on ECW, when he challenged Kaval to put up his spot on the SmackDown Bragging Rights team up against him. Reks went on to win the match and earn a spot on Team SmackDown at Bragging Rights.
 
I'm not sure if that sort of booking would fly with the audiences these days unfortunately.

The WWE might be dying, though. :(
 
Well the booking they're doing now sure ain't working with the audiences these days.
