I wasn't expecting the comedic tone but it looks worth a try, feels like it's going to be in a similar mold to 'Only Murders in the Building'.

Yeah, Only Murders mixed with an Agatha Christie/Knives Out style mystery. Could be a lot of fun.

Watched this over the past week. It was lighthearted and fun. I felt like the dialogue got a little repetitive at times though. Someone needs to make a compilation of when a character especially Jasmine says, “You have to understand…” to Cupp. The denouement scene in particular I felt like went on wayyy too long with too many red herrings and misleads. Still it was fun though.

The production design was terrific btw and so was the cast especially Uzo Aduba and Randall Park who were fun together. Some other cast members didn’t get to shine as much especially Giancarlo who despite having a fair amount of screentime didn’t get anything meaty. And also Susan Kelechi Watson who in the beginning seemed like would play a pretty big role but then ended up just being there as a source of exposition whenever new info was needed. If they get to make a second season, I hope they streamline the exposition and work out the kinks a little better.
