"Bloodline" on Netflix

Seriously who has watched this?

Hush, are you not reading any of my previous posts at all? This show was awesome!

My wife is currently watching this.

All I hear is the F-word constantly in the background. :hehe:

I'm one episode deep so far. I wasn't overly sure I'd stick with it until dat ending.

Just finished the season. Wow, give Ben Mendelsohn that Emmy right now. I was really torn about how I felt about Danny. This show made me change emotions so many times. Kyle Chandler was phenomenal as always but Mendelsohn was really amazing. Can't wait for season 2...especially after that ending!

Yea, like, you kinda wanted to root for Danny to change and especially you felt bad for him after everything that happened with him in the past. That's what I loved about this show so much, they really made it extremely emotionally intense with that sub plot about what happened when they were all kids. Really made you feel for Danny too. He sure didn't ever make it easy to want to like him either lol. God, I can't wait for season 2.

I just finished and yeah, this is a f***ing awesome show. LOVED IT.

Finished watching episode 4 last night. Very intriguing show.

One episode left and this show just picked up in a huge way, one thing I hate about this show is how damn annoying Sissy Spacek's character is.

Finished this last night. Such a great show. Lots of loose ends to make for an excellent season 2.

I binge watched this a few weeks ago and it was really good. Ben Mendelsohn deserves all the awards!

Yes finally a trailer,Season 2 looks intense as hell

This seems like the official bloodline thread so just posting my response from the Hype TV thread over here:
I binged the show throughout the course of a week; about a couple episodes a day. At times it sort of reminded of the movie "What About Bob" but completely different as a realistic drama as opposed to a nonsensical comedy.

I wasn't sure if I liked the show but it kept me very interested and watching throughout. While not necessary plot centric or story driven I felt it was a resonating family drama and character driven show that was well edited and acted.

One thing I didn't like was the final instance (last few seconds of final episode) that just was initially sort of a surprise but then felt like a cheap segue into a next season. In a way, I find it hard to see how the creators could've initially envisioned this show for more than 1 season. It just feels like everything is finalized at the end with no real need to explore any more threads without risking taking something away from the first season.

With that being said, I do look forward to the 2nd season. I just hope the final shocker at the end of season 1 turns out to be some sort of prank to not try and recycle over the same aspects of season 1 in a cheap way.

Thanks for posting that trailer for season 2. Honestly, it just didn't impress me. The only continuation I find interesting is the mother's interaction with the detective who told her she's being lied to. The rest just seems like amplified drama trying to repeat the same stuff from season 1 just in a more action packed manner. It just doesn't seem like a show that was meant for 2 seasons. I'll give it a try but it just seems like it isn't going to be a home run of a season. I just hope it doesn't change my perspective of season 1 in a bad way.

Yeah this season looks awesome.

Took off from work today. Going to binge watch season 2!

On episode 6 of Season 2 atm. Not bad, but too much Danny ghost and it's bothering me.

Just stick to the flashbacks of him.

Jeez,Kyle Chandler's facial expression at the end of episode 7 (S2) is amazing

Almost done with season 2, just 1 episode left, its so fascinating watching Kyle Chandler play a guy who is barely managing to hold it all together. I'm also glad that this season we are seeing a lot more of Sissy Spacek, who I thought was incredibly underused in the 1st season

Finished Season 2 last night. Overall not as strong as the first, but I'm still very much invested in the Rayburn's and what happens next.

I was gutted to find out there was only 10 episodes this year! :csad:

I enjoyed it thought the pacing was a lot better in the 2nd season.

I wonder if Kevin will start seeing Marco in season 3,lol
