The Season to Get Fat!

After what I endured this afternoon and evening after eating some really bad meatloaf from a local grocery store, I don't foresee myself eating anything that could lead to obesity. If anything I've decided to become a vegetarian because even the thought of meat is making me feel woozy. Granted I might make exceptions with Turkey and Ham but that'll be as far as I'll go. Food poisoning is not fun and I'm only now starting to recover from it.

I'm one of those people that doesn't get affected by how much they eat.

I wish I'd get affected a little - I hate the damn cold :cmad:
Me too. I need to gain an extra 5 or 10 lbs to look relatively healthy at this moment. :o I live in SoCal so the cold isn't much of an issue, but lack of natural padding in my butt makes it hard to sit still for long periods of time. :oldrazz:

BRING ON THE FOOD! :hehe:

Halloween and it's candy forshadow what's ahead for the end of the year. Thanksgiving will be here in a few weeks and Christmas soon after. Is anyone getting ready to wear their comfortable pants or are you planning on sticking to your diet/work-out routine?

I made it through Halloween without too much indulgence but the gloves are going to come off on Thanksgiving. I won't eat a huge overall amount but the calories from the pumpkin pie will more than make up for that. I see lots of treadmill and steamroom time in my future. :woot:

I may actually lose a lot of weight this holiday season, or stay where I'm at. I will be traveling the Northeast on Thanksgiving, so a feast is out of the question... and I will be celebrating Hanukkah this December instead of Christmas, so again, there will probably be very little gorging.

My workout routine and diet just got more serious so this fat season should be interesting lol

I dont have to worry about this. No matter what I eat, my belly doesnt move lol. So I'm gonna eat sooooooo much for the seasons coming up and not worry about burning them off after the New Year :o:grin:

Yeah, I bump up the cardio just a little bit more during Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I also tend to use it as a bit of a bulking phase and go heavy and hard to take advantage of the extra carbs.

*tries not to barf at the thought* :p

Ran a 5k yesterday, so the bad Halloween diet was worked off, I'm running an 8k Thanksgiving morning, so no worries about that feast. Plus I'm going to start training for a May marathon right after New Years, so I'll need to stay in shape during the holidays so I can start training right. Although, my metabolism is pretty fast as it is and I don't really need to worry about what I eat, my running goals will make sure that it stays that way.

I know rite? Im actually tryin to diet to lose weight, so.. Willpower FTW!!!

darnit, I plan on sticking to my diet... I've come so far this past year and almost lost 100 pounds, and I have no need nor want to "let loose" my goal

This is how I plan to handle the Christmas season, thankfully I already got Thanksgiving out of the way, being Canadian and all.

Only problem I see is this, while I already eat a lot, I eat many times throughout the day, moderate sized meals.

When it comes to Christmas turkey day, my dad has this assbackwards notion that we should basically starve ourselves for the whole day whilst preparing the turkey and the fixings and then assault our systems with like 5000 calories a few hours before bedtime.
