The shorter the woman, the taller the man and vice versa?

I recall this back in school and still see and hear about it from people on occasion. The girls that I knew that were extremely short, basically around the 5 ft. or less height always required guys that were much taller than them. Not just a few inches taller, but like 6ft. and over. That was the requirement they usually had. The opposite was the same for a lot of freakishly tall guys as they wanted a girl that wasn't close to their height at all, but extremely shorter by comparison. Have you ever seen a couple where the height difference is just outrageous? I don't mean where the guy or girl is a little taller or shorter than the other, but outright blatant.

I've seen couples like that, but you really can't make generalizations. Some short people date other short people; some tall people date other tall people.

I've seen all kind of couples.
it's a tad of a generalization you're engaging in.
but an understandable one.

My cousin is very tall and his wife is short, but thats the only time I've noticed. Actually, many people I know prefer people that are close to thier own height. My friend is 6'10'' and he wants a 6'2'' girlfriend. My Dad was 6'1'' when he married my Mom, who was 5'10''.

it's a natural selection/mating thing...short chicks pick tall guys so they can have average sized (or at least bigger than they are) offspring...

My sister's best friend is maybe 5', her boyfriend is 6'4".

I know. I can't stand it, the shorter girls have a thing for guys that are twice their size.
