Wow, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were brothers ? I didn't know that. I just thought ther were really tight homies ( the only TF's I knew who were brothers were Rumble and Frenzy). I read on another board that the writers wanted to pair up Sideswipe with Sunstreaker, but Bay opted for the Twins.

Sideswipe had 3 or 4 lines:

"Clear a path!",
"Damn, I'm good.",
"Ironhide... Over there!!", and either Sideswipe or Ironhide shouted Sam's name when he was running toward Optimus before he died.

Change it to "The Sideswipe Two Lines" thread. From the way he acts, Sideswipe has the Decepticon tendencies regarding battle, but is an Autobot.

Sideswipe had 3 lines: "Clear a path!", "Damn, I'm good", and "Ironhide... Over there!"

lol why wasnt he in the new game?!

Maybe him and some of the others will be DLC.

Hopefully he'll be used much more in the next film as he is a complete badass. Too bad unless your name is Optimus Prime or Bumblebee you get thrown to the basement. Ironhide and Sideswipe really both should have more lines and more involvement.

Althought we got little of him I thought they got his personality spot on, especially with the "Damn, I'm good" line. He has always been cocky in the comics as well as having trouble following orders, but he can be heroic at times also, in Revelations he especially kicked ass.

But yeah, I hope we get more of him in the 3rd movie, and wish we would have gotten more of him in ROTF.

I agree completely. He was amazing for the little time he got. I would have cut out a LOT of Leo, the Pretender, and the Twins to get more dialogue/characterization from Sideswipe along with Ironhide and Ratchet. Hopefully that is the case for TF3.

Agreed, rather than adding lots of new Autobots for part 3, I hope they just add 1 or 2 and then develop the others more, Sideswipe especially.

But its Michael Bay and he's a moron so it will only be Bumblebee and Optimus that do anything important onscreen. Though Mudflap and Skids were around and did do something.

I'd keep the pretender part in but cut half of the screen time that the twins got and give that half to the other autobots. Hopefully, we'll get more of Sideswipe and the others in the third.. Sideswipe was badass. Oooh yeah. I like how he cut that decepticon in half. "Damn. I'm good."

I really wanted to see more of the autobots and less of the twins. When the humans circle the autobots to make them leave the planet, you hear Ratchet and Ironhide talk about it and what Prime would have wanted. It was two lines. Couldnt it have been more? I'd really like to see those two take up the leadership. They seem like the older and wiser of the bunch, it would have been cool.
And Sideswipe could have fought someone in the final battle. Starscream maybe...

I'd be okay with that for TF3, wouldnt mind Ultra Magnus as well though.

In the beginning of TF3 the Twins should make their last appearance by getting shot in the head thus "clearing the path" for Sideswipe and another Autobot to assume their position. Wheeljack and Prowl can take Arcee and the other fembots postion.

Not sure if ILM would be able to render all of these guys. I'm sure the inclusion of the Twins is partially monetary and the amount of time it takes to render these guys on screen.
