World The Spider-Verse and Beyond

Obviously the comics are the definitive version. No debate about that.

and Peter Parker is the one, TRUE Spider-Man PERIOD... end of discussion...

Well, that debate ended fast. So any particular versions of Spider-Man interest you guys?

Comics are best because they are what Spider-Man comes from. From cartoons I love Spectacular and 90's show. From movies I love Raimi's. From games I like Raimi movie games, PS1 games, and Shattered Dimsensions on PS3.

I also find Spider-Man Noir to be interesting. In the comics, cartoons, and especially Shattered Dimensions. The Noir Spider-Man felt alot like an Arkham Game.

Never cared for Noir. It's like it's trying to put Spider-Man in Batman's kind of world and it didn't feel right.

The Noir segments were my favorite from Shattered Dimensions game. :hyper:

I'd play a whole game devoted to him, but I really doubt that would ever happen.

I think they should do an entire Spider-Verse cartoon series. Just have each season be dedicated to another Spidey. It'd be fine by me.

I also like the Superior Spider-Man version of Peter. He got stuff done that Peter could never do. He had his own Spider-Army and everything. And that moment where he knocked out Wolverine in the comics blew my mind.

I never liked the idea of a Spider-Army... it was just a completely assinine idea and was Otto's shtick and not Peter's... let's hope we never see that idea surface again in the future, because it's just not a Spider-Man thing...
Peter would rather rely on his own ingenuity and not fall back on Otto's devices...

I hate that they killed Spider-Friends version but kept the Ultimate cartoon version alive.

I think the Ultimate Version appeared in Spider-Verse. As well as Toby and Andrew's version's were referenced.
