So far it looks that the Ben Reilly in the story was killed, though no body was shown. Kaine be saw die, but we have seen that happen 10 times now...for some reason though, this feels more permanent.

As for killing off all the clones, one of the X-titles recently revealed that Mr Sinister created an army of Ben Reillys all in Scarlet Spider hoodie costumes.

I really hope Kaine comes back as he has been the most interesting Spidey in the 616 universe in a while.

Not being an X-reader, I don't know much about Mr Sinister, but how would he attain DNA from Peter to make the clones? How does he know about Scarlet Spider's secret ID as Ben Reilly, a clone of Peter?

As seems often the case the last decade or so with Marvel, logical questions and answers go out the window when there's a throwaway in-joke to be made.

There was a mini series back in 2008 called "X-Men/Spider-Man"...

In issue #3, featuring 90's X-Men & Ben Reilly Spider-Man, Mr.Sinister gets his hands on that DnA...

I'm all for undoing Sins Past & OMD/BND. The Clone Saga can stand, it didn't upset the status quo like it was originally intended. The marriage and baby May thing seems to be teased in the solicitations. I hope at the very least Pete & MJ get back together. The whole turning into the spider.organic webbing is in the past, so it doesn't bother me.

I agree with every point except the Civil War happening thing... imho, Civil War is just a forgettable storyline that I just NEVER got into...

I have a feeling Loomworld and Karn are going to be Marvel's out. Karn as the Master Weaver can just reweave the web and fix it all. MC2 Peter dead? Nope. Ben Reilly that was used in Spider-Verse? He survived.

It is an easy out and it looks like Slott was setting up for this...

Have to say as someone that is not a fan of the "events" they seem to happen every year, Civil War is one that I did get into as it mirrorred actual world events.

I don't think Civil War is undone.
The marriage won't return, not unless it does wonders to the circulation again. The same happens to the baby.
May won't stay dead, the old bat dying will age the character. I think that's part of their plan.
I like Sins Past, but yeah, it really needs to be undone and never brought up again.

While a third reboot of Spidey's origin in the movies would be excessive. I think John Semper of Spider-Man the Animated Series gave the best explanation of Peter's ability to "create something that 3M couldn't "(Raimi's words). After the spider bite along with his scientific knowledge, Peter instinctively knew which chemicals to mix to create the webbing. He did not steal it(Webb) version or have webbing come out of his wrists with mechanical sounds(Raimi). It's taken Marvel almost 50 years before they portrayed Peter as a genius.Peter is also an authority on all things spider related.I'm curious to see what powers Spider-Man will have after Secret Wars and Battleworld.

What happens to all the 33 comics that are ending in May ?

I have a subscription to Amazing Spider-man , along with a couple others , will they get replaced by one of the Secret Wars titles , then revert back to the regular title once Secret Wars is over ?

I guess what I'm asking is , what happens to my Amazing Spider-man subscription after May ?
