* "Miller on Miller" - the artistry of Frank Miller
* "Green World" - takes you behind the scenes of the technical wizardry behind the making of the film

Wow. Even the only person on earth who enjoyed this film isn't spending their own money on Miller's abortion-that-lived.

Lion's Gate better hope someone remembers your birthday, or their total projected sales for this has just dropped from 1 to zero.

nope i intend to buy a copy

It's cheap how they sucker you into thinking that there's 2 discs of special features, when the second disc is just a digital copy.

Yeah they are very clever with this whole digital copy craze.

I didn't mind the film...Liked it better than TIH...Might get this, mostly for the special features...

I guess Sam Jackson is a short dude...those women tower him.
And the guy playing the spirit must be huge as his head is bigger than everyones body. :whatever:Please don't be dumb you know thats just how they photoshopped everybody.

Uh....no. Whoever did that, ****ed it up. Yeah, the Spirit is fine in the backround like some sort of ominious(sp?) presence, but they ****ed up the rest of it. Design 101. Everything must fit. It doesnt. Theres no depth to the picture, it looks sloppy and lame.

Why are you complaining about what the cover looks like? Do you like the movie? No? Were you planning on getting it on DVD or Blu-ray? No? Then why do you care what the cover is?

Because its a ****** cover?

I disagree. I don't have a problem with it. I like it. Those of us that like the movie like the cover. And the fact is no matter what cover art they choose for this DVD you wouldn't like it because it would be from the movie you hate.

This isnt a PRO SPIRIT forum...

This isn't a HATE SPIRIT forum. Each board here is presumably intended for fans of that particular movie and cast of characters to post about and discuss. Not for those of you who don't like it coming on here and moaning about how you hate it like a broken record in an antagonistic and trollish manner with profanities.

Oh hush you. Its a crap movie. I have every right. If the cover looked good, i'd say so.

Each board is a DISCUSSION board....for discussing. Good and bad. And I only use profantiy when threatened...like a kitty. Rar.

You act like your opinions are facts, and their not.

Cats don't use profanities! THIS IS FOR MUFFIN!

Well.....I mean, you can like it...but the movie is very poor.

Kinda like how I enjoy Punisher War ZOne. Its fun, and awesome...but its a **** film.

While I don't agree that the movie is very poor, as Frank Miller said, "It's not some stodgy old thing that aspires to be revered. I don’t want anybody to bow to this movie. Come hell or high water, this movie was going to take chances and offer something new."

See, Punisher War Zone isn't fun and awesome to me, but The Spirit is. We obviously have different tastes. I don't love gore and mindless violence so Punisher War Zone isn't for me. I love hot women, noir atmosphere, surreal imagery, voice-over narrations, cats and weird humor so The Spirit is for me.

Yeah they are very clever with this whole digital copy craze.

I wonder if the digital copy in the Blu-ray is also a 1920x1080 digital copy or if it just a DVD resolution copy?

By the way, I hear The Spirit will go direct to DVD in Europe based on the sucky US box office performance.

The digital copy is almost always standard definition. i've never heard of the digital copy being anything higher.

Digital discs suck.
