Oh, Pa Kent is Kurt Russell? I thought it was Jeff Bridges, who, by the way, is my prefered Jonathan Kent. But really, no one answers: can Conway act?

Dorky has some commendable skills, but I feel jesusmagicka really nailed his casting likenesses superbly. I'm not liking the suit redesign too much, but the rest of the artwork is just so damn fantastic I'm willing to overlook it. This is exactly how a fresh take on the franchise should feel.

I'll always choose the classic costume, but that's a pretty cool alternate suit. A bit Star Trek looking.

Art was about even (they were both great), so I chose Dorky just on classic costume basis.

I voted for DorkyFresh. I really admire jesusmagicka's technical skills, and actually prefer his Lois and Luthor. But it all comes down to Superman for me, and I'm a traditionalist. I see no validity in throwing away timeless iconography, and jesus' Superman is way too far removed from what I want to see. I'm not entirely in love with Dorky's suit either, but at least it feels like the Superman I know and love.

if it just based on drawing, i have to with jesus. My only gripe with jesus's drawing is I hate how Superman costume looks. I LOVE HOW LOIS LANE LOOKS, I can't stop look at her, and Lex is okay. But, Superman's costume does not fit with the look of the whole drawing, it's out of place.

Jesus, who did you cast as Lois?

jesusmagicka has managed to capture the essence of who Superman is, visually, in a fresh, new, elegant, noble design.

Adjusting the thickness of the undies here and there and adding a few lines up and down the old suit is not a redesign. That is all just rearranging the furniture.

Over the past decade, Superman has rapidly become a dated superhero. It will take a design like this (or this actual design) and a fresh take on the character to reconnect him with a larger audience.

Bravo, my friend, you did it.

i really hate (sorry!) the costume in the 2nd photo, but the artwork is definitely more refined. I'm a storyboard artist myself so you could do really well for yourself in the future!

Ah, this was a tough one. While I do think Jesus's drawing is overall more "refined," I'm simply not a fan of the costume design for the new film. I think, as an Elseworld's tale it's great: it's different, yet retains the notables of Superman's costume. But for the new movie? No thanks.

Plus, the drawing a reaffirmed my dislike for Cavill in the role.

So...my vote goes to DorkyFresh. Though really, great job to the both of you!
