hey does anyone know of a good program to capture frames quickly? the one I have sucks...I can make avys really quickly if I have a good program to do this with. and free of course...

My favorite way to do it is to use quicktime videos, go frame by frame and copy each frame and pasting wherever I need to.

ah yes I forgot, my mac won't detect quicktime as a DVD so it will let me capture. Unfortunately I can't capture while a DVD is in play or paused...so trailer based avys should be super easy to make now. BTW adobe image ready rocks and so do online tutorials, I was making animations in 5 minutes time with my first go at image ready.

Image Ready is great, I dont have it anymore but its probably the easiest to make animations.

I use gimp now, its free and nice. It makes me about 5 to 10 minutes to make a gif, depending of its length.

I might get Image Ready again though.

Yeah, but can you slow the frame rate down just a bit? That's really fast and kind of dizzifying.
