Silicon Surfer said:The pre retconned Beyonder was by far the most powerful. He stated that the MU was to him as a drop of water was to the ocean. He was far above and beyond God. I believe that even the cosmic beings said that he was supreme. Eternity using a huge chunk of the Beyonders own captured energy was going to sacrifice a third of himself to try to destroy the Beyonder.

1. What books are these images from?
2. What books did Thanos get the heart of the universe?
3. Where can I find the arc of the brothers and the DC/Marvel Crossover? Is it a novel or TPB yet?
Thanks, any info is greatly appreciated.
torkibe said:1.The images are from "Marvel: The End". You can get a trade, or you can probably find the whole 6 issue arc on ebay.
2. See Above.

Actually Classic Beyonder wsa more powerfull than any other comic character since he had:torkibe said:Nope. He was vastly powerful, but it was later revealed that he wasn't as powerful as we thought he was. Maybe retcon is too strong of a word, really more of a reveal. You can read about most of it here.

But, whether or not you believe in any one particular God (Christian, Muslim, Jewish) the concept of an Amighty God means just that, he (or she) is almighty. NOTHING is above and beyond that. Certainly not the Beyonder. He is the creator and ruler of ALL existance. In "The End" Thanos alludes to the fact that God must have been tired of being God, so he tricked Thanos into taking over. Therefore, Thanos became God.
Yes, I read it. "Universe" and "Multiverse" are really interchangeable terms depending on the writer using them. In the case of "The End" Thanos means it in the all encompassing sense of the word. "Multiverse" is a term the writers use when they want to express to the reader that our concept of the "Universe" isn't all that's out there. It's really just semantics.
