So, i have dug up my old comics and was wondering: What are the chances of a movie about The Tomb of Dracula? Or a Netflix series? If so who should play Dracula?

I think that a tv series would be the best way to go, as a sort of monster of the week show done properly, i miss those.

It is unlikely to make it to the film adaptation, nor television as there are already two programs (Dracula and Penny Dreadful.) I'd love for 70's Marvel horror to make it into the live action realm - especially since Man Thing was confirmed being in the MCU-but, I'm not going to hold my breath.

You should check out Penny Dreadful. It's got some classic monsters and villains from Gothic Horror.

Yeah, you are probably right but unfortunately those two shows arent showing here in Sweden, yet. :csad: Is the Dracula one any good?

I think Dracula just got cancelled.

Yeah, the NBC Dracula was cancelled a few weeks ago.

I always loved Marvel's TOMB OF DRACULA.....it would be cool to see it as a series, but I wouldn't bet on it happening....unless they wanted to do a reboot of Blade and used that storyline to reintroduce him.

I think that the best way to reboot Blade is by having him as a recurrying character in a show like this, expanding upon the supernatural in the MCU. The original comics were almost a monster of the week type of story, could translate quite well with a semi-adaptation of one issue per episode like The Walking Dead did for the most part.

Dracula is cancelled? Shame that i didnt even get to check it out then. :csad:

But anyway, a Tomb of Dracula show would be really nice and like you guys said, a cool way to re-introduce Blade! :word:
