The Video Game Deals Thread

I picked up a bunch of the games that I wanted online. From Wal-Mart, I got Assassin's Creed IV for $35, Splinter Cell:Blacklist, LEGO Marvel Heroes, Saint's Row IV for $25, and Gran Turismo 5 for $10. From Best Buy, I got Arkham Origins for $30 and Midnight Club LA for $10.

I wanted to get NBA 2k14 and WWE 2k14, but because of my budget, I'm saving the rest of the money I saved for The Last of Us at $25 and Borderlands 2 GOTY for $30, as well as the PS+ subscription for $30.

Just a heads up, Borderlands 2 is part of December's PS+ instant game collection. Though you're probably still better off paying for the GOTY instead of the season pass.

The Microsoft Store has Assassin's Creed 3 for $10 right now. It's so tempting, but I still haven't even finished Revelations yet. They also have Gears: Judgement for $20, and Prototype 2 for $10.

Edit: Damn. They also have Far Cry 3 for $15. I keep telling myself I'm not going to buy any more games, but this is tempting as hell.

Yeah, if I were really interested in just getting BL2, I would have gotten it a while ago, but the fact that the GOTY is being offered at this price is what really makes this the one game deal that I'm anxious to get. The same goes for the Skyrim's Legendary Edition that I got last week for the same price. I've played and finished both games, but I don't own them and never played any of the DLC, so for $30, both are a steal.

I don't care for the DLC at least not now so I'll stick with the Plus BL2. Maybe they'll put out a sale for it in the future.

The ONLY videogame Im interesting in getting is Beyond: Two Souls. $25 this evening on Amazon as a lightning deal. With my $20 promo, it comes out to $5! although Id need a $10 filler since they raised the shipping cap. Other than that I'll score at least one PS Plus. Im already subscribed through Oct 2015, so I'll just tack on one more year

picked up Last Of Us, Injustice, Arkham Origins, and FIFA 14

spent a grand total of $105

I just got Batman Arkham Origins and The Last of Us at Best Buy's Black Friday for $30 each..Which makes it two games for the price of one!

The Amazon Vita Bundle just went up on sale. It's $175 for a Vita, The Walking Dead, a 4GB card, Uncharted, Sly Cooper, and Retro City Rampage.

that's a pretty weak price. I was hoping for $150

Eh, it's an okay price. The problem I have with the bundle is the 4GB memory card. Is that even big enough to download The Walking Dead? I know it can't fit Uncharted.

I got mine this week for $170 from Best Buy and it came with an 8GB card, which fits enough games that I can play and manage, 4 seems like it would be worthless.

1 year of PS+ is also on sale at Amazon and Gamestop (digital codes) for $29.99, $20 off the normal price. :yay: Just picked up two years worth.

Revengeance is off 33% on Steam. And the game doesn't even get released till January 9th.

Arise, thread, ARISE!

Anyway, thought this would be a good thread to bump to the main page.

We've got some super deals on a few newish games I happen to find:

The Witcher 3 for PS4 and Xbox One is on sale, brand new, for $42 at Target's website and that does include free shipping: http://www.target.com/p/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-xbox-one/-/A-15177874?clkid=wm8WszXv7T%3A7XtCSZXQqC0iSUkVSODXO80rxTk0&lnm=79373&afid=Slickdeals+LLC&ref=tgt_adv_xasd0002

Metro Redux for PS4 and Xbox One are $20, brand new, at Amazon and Best Buy (with GCU it comes to $16, I believe): http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchp...D=1&siteID=FKSJxY2VJAk-J9zFegGpNUWVukJkObtkgg

Far Cry 4 for PS4 and Xbox One is $20, used, at Gamefly's website: https://www.gamefly.com/#!/game/Far-Cry-4/5008299

Bayonetta 2 is on sale for $45 new or $40 used at Gamestop. Not a big sale in comparison to the others, I know, but keep in mind that this is a Nintendo-published game and is essentially a first party game, and that it comes with an updated version of the first game, so it's a 2-for-1 bundle: http://www.gamestop.com/wii-u/games...7&sourceID=FKSJxY2VJAk-pVgkMalBETntpFYig6vmBQ

If you need a Wii U to play that on, cowboom has them, pre-owned, for $180. It's a weird name, but as the site says, it's an affiliate with Best Buy, so it's legit: http://www.cowboom.com/product/1399720/

Gamestop is also having a special going on now where you get 50% extra the trade in of any games for those who may be interested.

I'm also curious if anyone here has played those Metro games? I'm kind of thinking of maybe trying them out, but it seems the reception is overall kind of mixed.

Target currently has their annual B2G1 videogame sale. If you use their wishlist app, you can get an additional 10% off and promo code TGTE2RSY gives $5 off. Picked up Uncharted Collection, Borderlands: Handsome Jack Collection and Assassin's Creed Syndicate for $110 or about $36 each

I'm planning to do the same, but to get Fallout 4, while my brother gets Call of Duty and NBA 2K16. Hopefully they have all in stock by early Tuesday morning.

I'm so glad the only game I got for myself at Target was Fallout. I'm planning to save a bunch on games at Best Buy. Still going to wait and see Wal-Mart's prices, but I'm planning to stop by Best Buy this weekend and finally start a GCU membership.

I am considering getting A Link Between Worlds, Pokemon Sapphire, and Fire Emblem: Awakening with the Target deal though. After using a couple of registry and wish list discounts, I managed to get the total price to $65, but I'm a little worried because I don't normally follow Nintendo sales, but I also feel like they don't happen much either.
